Crayola: Good Crayon, Bad RDM

While yeah crayola obviously didn't refresh you if you had 20mp, it was kinda doomed from the start. Viruna = lvl 34 spell...therefore the mages were going to catch it eventually, probably.

But yeah its shitty just dropping Tanatoro and everyone, when a few words to the SMN to cure more would have done... s/he isn't the first SMN to focus a bit too much on buffing and forget to cure and probably won't be the last...

The problem here isn't so much how you play its that it was shitty of you to ditch the guy, when you are partly resonsible for him losing 1-2k xp.

And on the BRD vs RDM topic...as always it depends on the player. Most BRDs get away with more than RDM as they just throw out the same songs every time and everyone is happy, but a good BRD does so much for the party. Likewise a bad rdm will suck but i don't think they get away with it as much. I personally prefer the BRD over RDM but thats just my personal opinion.

Ever hear of Convert? Its that job ability RDM get at Lv40 that switches their current HP with their MP every 10 minutes. I'm sure had you used that before the pull, you would have had enough MP to have healed yourself and actually help prevent that death.

It depends on the player... >_> BRDs dont suck. RDMs dont suck. Person behind the screen playing BRD or RDM may suck. ^_^
 
I've seen some rdms at level 75 that have a hard time refreshing and enfeebling... that's just sad.
 
in all.. everyone sucks to someone else at their job cause they think they can do a better job..

braydon you can cry about spending gil and me being an ass but i said it was a waste before it started. maybe not directly but doesnt matter. i stayed to get his level back even after he said he only at 500 to go when in fact he had about 1200 to go...

and i meleed last fight to be a jerk cause 1. i was out of mp and 2. he said he only had 500 tnl and that shouldve given him the level.

all of you can bitch and complain about how crappy people are but in fact.. lots of people think you suck to.. you can go by one person crying about something.. or you could go by the rest.

our party was great before them two (braydon and tantoro) got there. and then people started dying.

imore than just you, braydon, could voke so you let the fingers point at you but i say thats just your guilty conscience, but what would i know.. with the two we had leaving and you two joining, the partied sucked.. i said that. and thats all..

cry and bitch some more. you get no sympathy from me..

as for the rest of you... i can only laugh at your sadness... you do have my sympathy.
 
ANY PLD that fear raptors and Perytons in the cape should stop lvling pld...

PLD are like NIN... a dime a dozen... the asshat players get to lvl cause there is nobody else avail. This really applies to all jobs these days... I love the lvl 75 WHM that try to melee..... which comes to my next job choice WHM/NIN who's with me!!!
 
I only read 2 pages of this post, but something just kept urking me...

Yes, bard is better with a ninja and redmage is better for pld, but guess what...THERE ARE ALOT MORE PLD THEN NIN! Personally as brd, I <3 a good nin over pld since it's alot easier to work with, but you will still HAVE to party with pld, so if suggesting "just og bard" is a really bad idea as redmage doesn't have to worry about placement, distance, etc. Just need to make sure to cast the right spells.

Wrong.... go level both tank jobs you'll find both got their benefits over the other.Bard has long song cast and shitz they can't always hit u when u get hit all of a sudden for 95 percent of ur hp.And if you don't like an rdm just leave the party or replace... no point in making shit threads over and over

Ouch, is that on your nin? That shouldn't be happening...

The reason why it's not beneficial for a ninja to party with a red mage is simple. Paralyze, Slow, Poison, and Blind are some important tools for a ninja to keep hate. The only really positive aspect of this is Haste. However in nearly all other conditions, bard is much more optimal to support a ninja. Evasion^ songs, Attack^, Accuracy^, etc, are far more of a support towards the ninja holding hate.

anyone can refresh.. its at the push of a button. i dont like plds cause any party ive been in with a pld the exp has been slow as shit. but with a ninja it just keeps comin.. but thats just me...
 
Crayola is the best RDM ever. We were party'n and he had me cured, casted dia, and melee. We did it all. Nothing in East Sarutabaruta could stop us.
 
It's always make me sad to discover thats growing trend of RDM saying PLD sucks. Even more when I party with one and I barely see a refresh in three fights.
