Seeing as this board and the server it represents is filled with unfamiliar names and faces, I realized I've basically returned after a long hiatus to a different board for a different server on a different game. Wanting to create a thread here to ease myself into this new community seemingly centered around the serious business that is "endgame", I found the shiny geared signatures and fancy expansion pack lingo intimidating.
Here I am one week after reactivation through SE's "Return Home to Vana'diel" feeling less like I've returned home and more like I've entered the home of a stranger. And so, I'm creating a thread to create a thread in the most obvious place for a forum newbie like me, the meet and greet.
My character's name is the same as my name on this forum, and my FFXI account has existed since the NA launch of the game. I quit very early in 2005. With roughly 80 days played on this character, I have a grand total of zero (0) level 75 jobs, and now, a grand total of zero (0) friends in game.
If any one of the four to five people who will actually end up reading this post ever get bored, feel free to hit me up with a tell, a party, or even a social linkshell.
It is a pleasure meeting you all, and I hope to see more of you both here and in game.
