I saw a user set to Read Only this afternoon but no reason was given on the C&P board. Are we not doing that anymore?
 
Cut reeve some slack. How is he supposed to know how the board works when hes never here?!?!
 
I was thinking the same thing too. The only entertaining flameboard thread in a while was just put in recycle bin (and since when are flameboard threads deleted unless they contain RL information? Even then said posts are just deleted, no?), and then saw the OP as read-only without any explanation.

During my lunch break when I read through the thread I saw nothing that really broke any flameboard rules, other then linking to another forum where a banned user posts, but I don't see how that is breaking the rule. He didn't allow said user on his account.

We should be using the Crime and Punishment board. It has not gone away. It is however only being used for status updating offenses, so hopefully it stays blissfully marginal.

Sorry for the delay, and Reeve did more than I request of him in even issuing the infraction. The infraction was every bit deserved.

Expanations can't always be given as soon as things happen. This was the proper course of action, though. A simple ask in the proper forum got the answer. Just because its on the flameboard doesn't mean more global rules don't apply. If a banned user made a post anywhere else in the board, the thread would also be deleted. The same goes is someone posts for a banned user.

Yeah. The whole, not even month, he's been gone, everything has been going to the pooper. Give me a break.
 
yea it was a permaban back then. I'm surprised it wasn't another today, mods feel nice today! haha.
