Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII

Well I beat the game at level 30 with other 28% of missions done. I don't have all that fancy stuff. I'm not a big fan of one shotting bosses.

Same, but with 7% done lolz
That's what New game + is for XD

The ending had me freakin bawling my eyes out. Damn that was good. Really in the mood to play VII again lol

What is this Genji armor you speak of? I haven't looked at a guide at all for this game, and I am at the final save point of the game doing all the missions. Level 42 so far with like 46% of the missions done. I have already beaten it, but want to get 100%.

Spoiler-esque
Spoiler:
HP Limit becomes 99999/Auto-Regen/Auto-Endurance: Achieve 100% DMW Limit. If you miss the Phoenix summon you cannot get it.

so Genji armor gives all of that? And I just need to get 100% complete? That is cool and not too difficult. The only people I need to get up are Cloud and Sephiroth. I still haven't gotten Tonberry or Cactuar yet. I will probably buy those materias that raise the chance of getting those Limits so I can hopefully get the scenes faster. Actually, I haven't gotten Tonberry, Cactuar, or the Magic Pot thingy yet. Hopefully I can still get them.

Yeah, the only one miss-able is listed, the others you should still be able to access the missions for. Plus no scenes for them, just need them to do their special attack, so once seeing their attack works.

Though
Spoiler:
Not sure about magic pot, haven't gotten it myself, need to run into one in a certain mission and do the things it asks for to get the item to "summon" it. Also get another piece of genji equip that way, need to do 99999 damage for one move it asks for, and costly punch it for another, and trigger sephiroths DMW attack for the last(this 1 sucks) before it runs away.

They really should have put a limit on the number of missions you can do. I just got Materia Fusion and I 1-3 shot everything. Only reason I'm doing story line now is cause I can't beat mission 4-4-3. The two bosses of that area are just mean.

I am having some continuity issues with Crisis Core, FFVII, and Advent Children... I was talking with a friend today and things just don't make sense to me. I really need to play through VII and watch AC again to see if maybe I just missed something huge, or if there really are issues.

what issues are you having? :P for continuity it's pretty good.

Spoiler:
Well for starters, in Crisis Core alone there are a couple things. How does Cloud go from being able to one hand the buster sword when attacking Sephiroth to not being able to even carry it at all when walking at the end.? Sure, something simple and will probably be answered with "Well he was weakened." but it's still stupid.

Another thing, not so much continuity, but going from Crisis Core to VII, it really makes Cloud seem like a real dickhead. Yes, Zack told Cloud to live for both of them, but he didn't tell Cloud to take over his life. In FFVII, we are made to believe it was some sort of mako or memory issue on why Cloud was pretending to be someone he wasn't. From the events of Crisis Core, he knew exactly what he was doing and just dicked over Zack and stole his life. Hell, he never even told Aeris that Zack said hi, which was one of the last things Zack said.

Then there is the whole Sephiroth issue that goes through all 3. In Crisis Core, we are to assume he is basically a clone/child of Jenova. To me, this makes me believe he is a test tube baby and has all the powers that Jenova has. In FFVII, sure, same thing. He is the child of Jenova, test tube baby made by Hojo using Hojo's own sperm to make the baby from Jenova's egg or however they do it. Then we get into Advent Children, and the "Brothers" are all potential Sephiroths. How the hell can they just turn into a person that was a clone? I understand the whole Jenova influence, about how they were all related in that way, but how can the strongest of them just *poof* into Jenova? Why didn't Cloud turn into Jenova? It's basically explained that the strongest brother would be turned into Jenova, and wouldn't that be Cloud?

Then there is the whole curing abilities of the lifestream. At the end of Crisis Core, I am lead to believe that Genesis was cured of his degradation by the lifestream. How come the life stream didn't do that for Sephiroth the times he was in contact with it? Sure, he wasn't degrading, but the "monster" in him should have been destroyed. Instead, Sephiroth just sits in a bubble above the crater basically dead, but not cured. I just don't get it.

Thats it for now that I can remember, I am sure I will think of something else.

your second paragraph is explained simply that cloud was also infauated with her, throughout 7 he cared for her and ignored Tifa's love and care all for Aeris. It is possible cloud refused because of his own personal emotions?

Spoiler:
Well we can assume Cloud was weakened when he was taking the Buster Sword at the end of the game. After all he was still getting over his Mako problem.

And ya, it did seem like they made Cloud out to be a dick XD but all we know is that he took the sword and wandered off. He might have had something happening as he was going back or perhaps he just over thought stuff and something screwed up.. but we don't really get much :\ so ya, it does seem something's off here.

The Sephiroth issue was screwed up >.> FFVII: AC was just a horrible movie lol. No plot depth, no explanation, nothing really. As far as I can tell at the end of FFVII Sephiroth split in three or something and well.. that's the best I can guess. Getting Jenova's cells brings his full self out in one or all the "brothers". But this is just my guess as there isn't really all that much evidence to support that.

As to why the lifestream healed Genesis and not Sephiroth.. I dunno. Maybe it's because Genesis' problem was physical and Sephiroth's is mental lol. Or perhaps it's because of the slight difference of how Genesis (and Angeal) were created compared to how Sephiroth was created. That can be my best guess.

And I dunno Moink :P Cloud didn't seem to care about Aerith really at the beginning of FFVII he just seemed to feel like he owed her or something for "saving his life" from the fall. And since there was a "deal" to protect her and he failed seems to be why he'd go to Shinra lol. But maybe he liked Aerith more because Tifa kinda ignored him a lot in Nibelheim and Aerith didn't ignore him from the start XD

Also he did have Zack's memories in most of FFVII until he fell into the lifestream and regained his identity, with the help of Tifa.

I watched all the cutscenes, and all I can come up with is that tiny segment at the end where Cloud is muttering the things that Zack says to him back... Zack basically says Cloud will be his living legacy, and Cloud whispers it back like it's being engraved in his head... dunno, maybe his mind was just all screwed up and when Zack said that, Cloud's mind just kind of took over. Maybe that's what they're trying to tell us.

that seems reasonable. Also, Lanien, when Zack says "say hi to Aerith for me" he's already dead and it's nothing Cloud hears, I think.

Yeh that's what I think, he's just speaking. Otherwise Cloud would've responded.

Either way, Cloud is just a dick now in my opinion lol

Oh, one more freaking thing. This Minerva person. She is like, the goddess of the earth or is the life stream in tangible form or whatever. If I kick the shit out of her like I did, the entire events of VII would not be able to happen. Why the hell have a boss in a game that wouldn't be able to be in the next game, when it seems her part is so intricately tied to all the events?

cause the weapons are asleep :|

lol, this planet is like a beacon for all that is godly XD

Heres a question. HOW MANY FUCKING TIMES IS SHINRA GOING TO MAKE SUPER ULTIMATE DEATH WEAPONS THAT GO CAVE EXPLORING ONLY TO BREAK AND FORCE ME TO TRACK THEM DOWN?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?

Christ, all those missions are annoying.

And I just tried the Tonberry Mission <_> Wow, those fuckers are mean. I do 99999 with the AP punch and they keep on coming.

hehe, wait until you fight Cactuars that do 100,000 needles :P that was fun. And ya, something like 300 missions is a bit much XD (maybe not that much but ya.. insane) I only have Minerva left and I'm just trying to get DMW 100%... I hate the DMW sometimes. I need Sephiroth, Tseng, Cloud, Aeris, Cissnei, and Genesis done and I even put the materia to help them come more often and I still can't get them to complete to 100% XD the bastards. I wants mah Genji Armor

What equipment are you using, Ele? I'm using the Hp and Dmg one with Power suit and Energy Suit.
