Crysis Demo

Just downloaded this last night...absolutely gorgeous game. Aside from the laggy menu selection (which I'd imagine will be optimized by release) this game is awesome. I think I will be picking it up whenever it actually gets released.

Only downside is that even my decent gaming PC can't run it on full settings with a 7900 GT graphics card. Still looks amazing on medium settings though.
 
Nice game, but seems like my computer can't handle it even on the lowest settings :irked:
 
Bought it today but won't get a chance to play it until tomorrow since 2 exams are staring me down. Hopefully it runs well on medium with my 7900 GT card.
 
Anyone playing this game know why the menu load times are incredibly slow? This is seriously hindering my ability to play in multiplayer matches.

I beat SP on normal so far and its apparent that there needs to be some serious patching to fix it up. Its still probably the greatest FPS I've ever played though.
 
Gotta decide between Crysis and Mario Galaxy. Does it accept gamepads? As Bioshock taught me, after ignoring PC gaming since Doom 3 came out, my keyboard and mouse skills have evaporated.
 
Yeah I'm pretty sure Crysis is gamepad supported. Personally, I use the good ole mouse and keyboard though.

My big issue with it right now is the fact that every menu takes ridiculously long to open. My computer almost freezes each time I go to buy or switch weapons, switch teams and following death/respawn in the multiplayer mode. I haven't read about this issue anywhere, so I have no idea how to fix it.

Hopefully this is something they are aware of and it gets patched soon :\

Aside from a few audio bugs, the singleplayer is quite possibly the greatest FPS experience I've ever had.

Can't wait for an expansion pack.
 
I can't wait til Christmas so I can build my new PC and play this.
