I'm kinda bummed that I didn't get much of a shot at the event since I was grounded, but I did get some cool-looking useless glasses out of the little that I did. Maybe one day in the future when everyone who has them has quit, I can sell my pair for 10 mil.

My point is that I always found the events fun and had some good rewards, this one, fun, but what a shit reward it had. To be honest I don't really want those Redeye glasses as:

A) I already have the NQ and HQ glasses from the event... not too impressed with them anyway now that the fun of the event has died.
B) Running low on Inv space (As Always)
C) I didn't get enough time to work on getting over 100 crystals.
D) I didn't really want to get over 100 crystals, would've been kinda pointless.

In my honest opinion, It would've been pointless to get the 100 crystals for the redeye glasses. So I don't really care about that. The only thing I'm pissed off about is having an everyday thing as an event rewards... thats just annoying, if San d'Orians want to get Gustaburg produce, go to Bastok and buy them there and complete a do a couple quests there/farm there/level up there/skill up crafts there/ etc. This will just make people lazier when it comes to conquest atm. But thats just my opinion.

Actually, those sashes were pretty good when they came out for low lvls. I have the one with +2 Enmity and i use it for when I actually lvl my Nin. I forgot what the Nq of that did though... lol

A and B) Toss the glasses. They're not useful, and if inventory space is that important to you, you don't need them.
C and D) Too bad, so sad. You didn't put in the dedication others did, you missed out.
It's not like events are going to introduce game-changing items (maybe those sashes, but those only last so long). I think that, had Windurst won, this would have been damn useful to cooks who don't want to travel around the world to get some ingredients (made slightly redundant by the city warp put in with the victory, but eh).
 
One question I have... Which NPC in Sandy sells the specialty items? And where? My girlfriend was looking for it and couldn't find it.
You know whats a shame, though? She got exactly 100 crystals. I got a good amount, but not that high.
And Basty still lost. Darn Sandy. >_>;

There is no NPC that sells specialty items.

San d'Oria has received two rewards.

1) All regional vendors now sell their products regardless of whether San d'Oria has control over the region. (For being first on server)

2) The moogle will teleport you to Bastok and Windurst. (For being first across all worlds)

That's it. Both rewards last till 11th December.

If you are talking about the Redeyes, that will be delivered via Delivery system.
