CS Apoly/ C Temenos Basement?

I recently acquired a Metal Chip from clearing a floor of limbus and was wondering if any LS has done one of these floors that require the metal chip. What is the minimum of people you could go with and such, are drops even worth going for? Wiki has nothing at all in regards to any useful infromation besides basics on these floors, so any and all input will be appreciated. Thanks.

From everything that i have read they are completely worthless but i have never bothered to use one and we have probably a dozen or so metals in my shell. As far as who to talk to i think UU has done a few of them so i would try to talk to sneakypants

I wouldn't go with anything less than 17 people. It's a fairly difficult place, especially with how quickly the mobs can build sleep resists on top of their always reviving at least once. The floor can be good for farming ancient coins if done well, but this of course requires one or two practice runs as well as a moderately good amount of luck. In the end I wouldn't say it's at all worth it unless coins is absolutely the only thing your shell really needs anymore.

meh I see.. I just go with a group of 6-8 I got from event scheduling lol so that means no metal chip usage for me.. too bad I cant trade it to npc for 75 coins like she sells it for XD

Uh, they are quite difficult. I participated in the C Apollyon run. Even if you get the chip for free, it's still almost not even worth it given the amount of death that we incurred.

Read up on wiki for more info, but I wouldn't take anything less than a full alliance.

well unless any LS wants to use my metal chip in turn for the usual ancient coins split I think I'm just gonna get my 1 inventory space back and drop this metal turd. And wiki has very little detail on how bad this sucks, compared to the detail of the usual areas of course.

The one time Fury tried it, we only had under 10 people. It was a drop from beating our first Omega, so we were still fairly new at Limbus. Being the puller, I found out shortly that these Aerns do aggro, and since they are always in groups of three or more, I died quick. The rest of the party got their asses handed to them shortly after.

Needless to say, we didn't have much luck.

Long story short: just use the cleanse for farming omega/ultima chips. I wish Sagheera would reimburse you for metal chips.

Did it once in BK... wasn't as bad as people make it out to be. It's a little nuts but it's a pretty decent coin return. That said, there's really no point in doing it since you get coins from the regular runs anyway and people come to Limbus for Homam/Nash, not the coins.

Amen. Hell, I'd be happy if you could trade em in for even a fraction of their actual cost. That or add something actually rewarding for completing the basement so people'd have an actual reason to go through with it.

100% chance at one Nashira or Homam piece would be a pretty good payoff considering it's horrible difficulty...
