Ok, it all comes out here - you hate me because I'm a Republican in a position of authority. Burned you up in November and I suppose it's burning you up now. Which is fine with me. You can hate me for whatever reasons you'd like, and if that gives you some self-satisfaction then good on ya.
Now, suprisingly enough, mods aren't robots. We don't follow one strict set of guidelines. Pup and Asia have made decisions I wouldn't have, and vice versa. I'm also the mod that's on these boards more than Asia and Pup, and as such, my decisions are going to be more at the forefront just because of the frequency I have to make them.
We, as a board, have moved (in short order) from a Flameboard with absolutely no checks and balances to one with mods that are willing to make decisions. Is everything I decide going to be popular? No. Shit, as we speak I'm getting flak for NOT locking a thread. When I lock a thread, I'm not doing it because I'm sitting here at my desk, cackling to myself and praising my evil underworld overlords for giving me the power to lock and move threads on an Internet messageboard. I'm doing what I feel is best for the community and the board as a whole. And not everyone's going to agree with me. You, Trippy, are one of the more vocal objectors.
If it turns out that everyone hates me, hates my mod style, hates everything about me, Pup can revoke my mod status whenever the hell he wants. I was an asshole before this and I'll probably stay one after. I was asked to mod this board because of who I am, and I'm not going to change that.
