I like defending the minority and the wrongly persecuted.

I've already said that I think its ridiculous that I think he was being ATTACKED by others (Sabia and Palum not included), just for what HE wants to do in a GAME. Some people were starting to get really passionate about it, the names escape me, but yourself is not included in that group either, Sneakypants. You just like to say crazy things and make sexual displays with Jender, which can -sometimes- be entertaining and I have no problem with.

However, for the other people... perhaps you need a break from the game that's becoming more like a job or chore to you.

And Firestreak, static parties are great, and if anything, there's more criticism in mine than any pickup party, so I agree with you. Those who haven't been in one are missing out. We're all open to it on any suggestions we can make to improve EXP/HR. I've learned how to nuke more MP-efficiently, our DRK has learned during what point in the chains to use his buffs, we've gone so far as to put out 3 pullers (including the PLD) if there's another party camping the same spot as us try to take all the pulls if we can.

Try to get a static with your friends if you can, for those of you that have never been in one. You're not going to level as fast (since you can't EXP every day), but every time you do it's stress-free and enjoyable because it's with people you like that know what they're doing. It's worth the wait if you need some friends to catch up to you!

The FB has been slipping recently. Badly. What was at one point a fun board is devolving into one giant bitch about gil sellers and other random stupid topics. While lecturing some of you about posting is going to be wasted breath, I do see some improvement possible. Let's go over the points.

A good thread has:

- Effort put into the first post.
- Topics not currently being discussed in another thread or all the time
- Timely posting, i.e not creating 5 threads at once when 1 would encompass all of them
- Effort put into replies to the topic

A bad thread has:

- No effort put into the first post
- Overused, rehashed topics
- Spammish/unnecessary/Postcount +1 replies
- Doesn't belong on the FB, or anywhere for that reason.

Wasnt this what started this thread? I honestly do not care what cubs does in game. Ive never pted with him. However, when you want to speak whats on your mind, whatever it is, I dont think you should be subject to censorship. That being said: "Fuckin Fuck you. Fuckin COCK ASS!"

If it's because you get some amusement from hearing yourself, go for it. If it's because you like to be a masked marauder that helps the underdog out, go for it. If you get hard from keeping this alive to prove your narrow and rigid points, go ahead. It will seem narrow and rigid anyway.


What I am saying, pertaining to this thread in specific is why not just stop? Seriously, why not?
If we all just start talking about something else, or simply not responding to this which has festered into horseshit, we might all get along better.
I know it's a flameboard, etc...SO FUCK YOU...but if it's just for flaming, why try and make a point? Everyone will still do and act as they please. Anyone can look at the other side and just say meh. So why don't we and just walk away from it?

I just feel like this thread, although in the flame forum, is counter-productive. All it does is pit people against each other.

We had and shared our opinions...People have their take-aways from it. Let's stop the nitpicking. People are already irritated, and it'll just get uglier. Cubs, you, me...We're all no better or worse than anyone else. That won't change.
