Cure for Cancer <Found it!>

That's awesome, I hope it works.

better late than never. lost a lot of family to cancer.... one can only pray

I lost my grandma to cancer, so I hope this is true >.>

My friend told me at work last night that she has cancer :( So this is quite ironic to come home to and read.

Cancer has rights too!

God, I hope this is true.

This is great! My mom was recently diagnosed with cancer and if this drug actually works, she wont have to worry about taking chemo^^

I'm almost more flabbergasted that someone in Alberta figured this out. I thought all they could do is work on oil rigs and bartend for indoor golf centres.

Shut your face!

Lost a very good friend to Cancer in the past year, he was only 27 years old. Lets prey this is true and some ppl can be saved.

DCA can cause pain, numbness and gait disturbances in some patients, but this may be a price worth paying if it turns out to be effective against all cancers. The next step is to run clinical trials of DCA in people with cancer. These may have to be funded by charities, universities and governments: pharmaceutical companies are unlikely to pay because they can’t make money on unpatented medicines. The pay-off is that if DCA does work, it will be easy to manufacture and dirt cheap.

another magic bullet eh? but what will our bodies be weakened against now? it causes some pain pain in the body is a sign of weakness somewhere. It's intriguing honestly but it should be carefully reviewed.

What if the pain is the sign of something more potent than cancer developing?

I know how you feel man. My friend is also still in her late 20's. I don't pray, but dammit, this is making me want to start.

Its very tough... The friend I was refering to graduated High school a year ahead of me, and was married to one of my 1st cousins... I was in thier wedding back in 2002... They had only been married for 4 years when he passed last November.. Its really sad.

I hope this turns out to work. I lost a friend on November 28th, 06 after fighting cancer for two years. He was only 21, not to mention visiting him in the hospital was rough because it would bring me to the pediatrics encology and it's always hard to see children dying of cancer. I mean, call it young naivity, but once you hit around 40 your risks go up enough that it's not as surprising to me. When you're 25 or less it's a shocker. Of course, it's depressing as shit both ways.
