Got my Nomad Moogle Shield and my Challenge Pack

Which contains BCNM Items:
Cordial Invite
Martial Ball Invite
Training Grounds Key
Mercenary Camp Entry Slip
A Flask of Pest Repellant

The first 3 BCNM Items were offered last year, and only the first two are re-useable. The Mercenary Camp Entry Slip is for if I want to enter a BCNM to square off with the five Serpent Generals. And the Flask of Pest Repellant was the BCNM item used to enter The Swarm at the FanFest.

I don't know if "The Swarm" was a FanFest Only thing, but... yeah... I'm gonna put these BCNM items in my Mog Locker.
 
I love how 1Up made a big fuckup by saying that The Swarm was a new system from the update.
Regardless, I'm curious as to what the Moogle Japery does.
 
I know when it fails it turns you into a moogle. Bu other than that, movement speed + I recall?

I think SE secretly has a moogle farm, and they're harvesting them to make knick knacks...

Moogle cap, Moogle shield... PETA is gonna be on SEs asses anytime now D:

You missed it, Xalioniaf. I used my Shield in Aht Urghan Whitegate. Xzerper, Morari, Crocker, and Mikkel were there.

Moogle's Japery (Japery = An old English word meaning "Joke", or "Prank")

If used inside a Town / City: Entire Party Movement Speed +25%
If used out-doors: Entire Party's food duration is doubled.
Occassionally may "Miss", causing the user to Costume Change into a Nomad Moogle (or Moogle if you have the Japanese shield)

I missed and Crocker, Xzerper, Mikkel, and Morari were laughing at me when I was turned into a Nomad Moogle. I drew a crowd in whitegate and people were bugging me for job changes and delivery box checking. I got /check whored too.

To my knowledge, there are only 4 people on Quetzalcoatl with a Nomad Moogle Shield:

Artielange
Araelus
 
damn, decided to return too late. I totally could have gone there too =(
