Whatever you do... Do not try to log to a mule. That's what got me kicked out of the game in the first place... And all I wanted was a few vials of mercury and some rock salt... Sooo....ooo...oooo pissed off...

WAs in a skillup party with Ellion and a random Jp Paladin. Nice chap. Ellion DC'd about 15 mins ago, and never came back. The Jp Paladin went about 5 mins ago. So I decide to logout, and what would you know... it got to the end of the count down, and nothing happened. Wouldn't let my character stand up or anything, I was about to call a GM... but I got DC'd myself.

Take a nap? This is crap but no luck so far.. and Excim, I went to check a mule in MH.. wouldnt let me log out.. then wouldnt let me move.. so I clicked to exit, froze.. closed XI and restart? This crap ._.
Makes me really wanna kep funding them lol.... This is common practice.

Or you could just do what happened to me, and pull the plug on your modem to disconnect you. Works the same. (I think...?)
Try not to hard reset your PlayOnline Viewer. Not sure if it corrupts files on PC, but I know it's a big nono for PS2bies like me.
I got back in for about 1 minute. Seen people left and right in lower Jeuno d/cing left and right, and whaddya know...lower Jueno became a ghost town. Upon which I was d/ced as well. >.<
