custom graphics

if i had to only have one gripe about ffxi it would be the lack of unique graphics, especially in the area of weapons and more specifically great axes.

i've heard people talking about .dat swaps but i was wondering if it were possible to 1 up that

is it possible to implement your own weapon models in game somehow? im strickly speaking in an asthetic sense. are there any websites which have models to download?

Not much out there in terms of Great Axe mods, though. The most popular one is sword.
