Well I’ve seen some things in the time that I have been playing FFXI but this one has got to be the worst..........I saw someone yelling for Horlais Peak BCNM 60, I was bored so I decided to join. We go through the first time but we have some problems rounding up the orcs, PLD and MNK died so we exited b/c we knew it was over from there.

On the 2nd attempt we did the same as before BLM sleeps em all and BRD was suppose to sleep em when they woke up again, I noticed the BLM starts losing hp really fast and dies, all of a sudden the orcs start rushing us and then the BRD comes to try to sleep them but their too scattered around. As we scrambled to get out the Cynthiana (BARD) says "sorry went AFK"

Who in the right mind would go AFK during a BCNM?!?! The bard was the first to exit, as soon as I get out I noticed she used a scroll of instant warp, gets to jeuno disbands and then logs out.

Oh and the worst part was that it was my Moon Orb

One should at least demonstrate some PRO at THESE lvls. AFK in the middle of a BCNM fight is certainly not excusable. :evil:

sounds like people that go afk in a dynamis for a good 10 minutes or more and are kneeling/resting which they shouldn't be WHEN WE ARE ABOUT TO GET A NM AND THE PULLER SUICIDES AND THE TRAIN COMES BACK ON YOUR ASSES >.> /fume

Yeah so that Monk was me... The first orb was mine. So I lost my orb and 800xp that night, from 2 deaths, but legalus hooked me up with 2 Raise 2's.

I personally was working over the BLM orc when i happen to notice hey OUR blm is dead. I saw him cast stoneskin and blink, so he couldn't be dead THAT fast. Low and behold the BRD wasn't there to save him.

Because of this a previous attempts, I'm not joining any more of these BCNM. If I don't have to do it for rank I'm not doing it.

Lol i did over 20 bcnm 40s without signa or horn. skill > equipment. 18-4 record somethin close. Its more of pain you dont get those extra seconds but generally with a good skilled team its not hard at all.
