D/C Wtf wait for me....

So I was looking for party tonight around 8.30pm est. I get invite at around 9. Party isn't full yet but I go to whitegate and start waiting around. Well 9.30 rolls around and no 6th yet so I /tell party leader hey I have to leave at 11 tonight. I have a plane to catch in the early am. Well probably 9.45 rolls around and I d/c.

I sign back on in about 2 min and /tell LUCIFEL invite to join party.... he comes back and says party full. Party full? wtf... i just d/ced for like 2 min, we had been searching for a 6th for an hour. his excuse was that I forced d/ced cuz i didn't want to wait any longer and cuz I only had an hour left. WELL I STILL WOULD HAVE PARTIED FOR A FUCKING HOUR SINCE I WAITED ALMOST AN HOUR FOR THE PARTY.

The thing that grinds my gears about this was he didn't wait at all. Just assumed. Well you did it you made an ass outta yourself and now that ive had to post this flame you made an ass outta me. Thank you, I respect your candor in the matter. Way to step up to the plate and tell the guy you just asked that you made a mistake. All I wanted was to get to 70. I was 700tnl.... You really helped me start the new year in a pleasant way..... asshole. yes we will never party again, which could possibly be a shame. And yes Lucifel, I called you an asshole.

Kinda shitty what he did but by the time you got to where you were going, got setup, and starting exping you would of had what 45 mins left? I mean really, either you or him would of had to have started looking for a replacement in 30 mins.

If that was you and you wasted an hour of your time waiting for him to form the party and your net goes down for just a few minutes and they replaced you, i'm 100% sure you wouldn't be happy either. She was close to 70 too, thats big for RNG for ohat.

Well I dont do that shit cuz it pisses me the fuck off. I would have stayed the whole time, maybe extra until they could get their replacement there if it was another half hour big fucking deal. If he was that concerned about me leaving or whatever you could have asked politly hey, can I get somebody else cuz you dont have a lot of time. Yeah I guess I would understand that more cuz he is being ok about it. The way he did it was wrong plain wrong and it pissed me off. If he did it the right way we wouldn't be writing on this forum.... And 70 is a big deal for me. I unlike most dont have a lvl 75 job. Would have been nice since the last party I had couldn't stay to get me to 70. And as we realize from the time of this post, Im still up.... and not asleep.... he shouldn't have done what he did.

i doubt anyone in their right mind would replace anyone just like that without a reason. Lucifels reason was just, the RNG had less than an hour left to party. leaders have a responsibility, you'll realize that sooner or later. If i was a member of that party and i found out someone only had less than an hour left; and we only had 5 members and still looking, bet your ass i would go "wtf is the point".

If you have a plane to catch and have to leave in 2 hours, try to find something else to do with your time than rush in a pt. Worst case, after being there for 10-15 minutes without leaving you should said "look, I thought the pt was going to be ready to go. Rather than waste your time by only being in the pt for a little while, why don't you just replace me with someone with more free time?"

I just don't get it, you knew you had a deadline that was unavoidable? Do you know how hard it is to get a replacement sometimes? In this case you were a job that's easy to replace, but that still doesn't guarantee anything will be seeking an hour from when they start. This game isn't the end-all and be-all thing to do. If you've got two hours, just watch tv or make sure everything's packed. Maybe leave a little early in case of traffic. Hell, put an xp band on and you prolly could've soloed EPs to hit lvl 70 in under two hours. :/
