D.Gray-Man returns from Hiatus August 17th!

[Gerry]

No particular source, but some of you may already know this. For those who don't and are fans of D.Gray-Man, the series is coming off of hiatus and is making it's glorious return with a FIFTY PAGE SPECIAL in Akamaru Jump on August 17th. I guess it'll be fully translated by August 20th, so keep your eyes out for it

Thx for the heads up. I was wondering what happened to that manga.

[Sanoske]

Woot! These breaks are rough...

[Eilistrae]

is the author still having health issues?

Well she did injure her wrist last year so she might have injured it again.

Nothing still. Or would you rather have one giant 85 episode filler arc that goes absolutely nowhere? ;P

In all seriousness, give it time.

[Ecks]

Wait... what episode does the anime currently stop on? It's not still ongoing is it? ;

[Eilistrae]

the last anime ep thus far:

2008-09-30 #103
Resounding in long morning
Nagai asa ni hibiku
長い朝に響く

I'm happy the author is doing well hopefully she will finish the anime in the near future. Also my most fVorite / saddest episode was the ending of the episode where Miranda is all beautiful and different XD and she walks into the sunlight <3. Best fxking episode ending everrr

ATTENTION! NEWS ABOUT FUTURE CHAPTERS!

D.Gray Man is Moving from Jump's weekly releases to Jump SQ's Monthly releases!

This summer's issue of Shueisha's Akamaru Jump magazine has announced on Monday that Katsura Hoshino will resume her D.Gray-man manga in the monthly Jump Square magazine on November 4. Hoshino originally launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 2004, but the manga has been on hiatus since this year's combined 22nd/23rd issue of Weekly Shonen Jump shipped on April 27. Hoshino had just put the manga on another hiatus from November of 2008 to March 2009 due to her health. The current Akamaru Jump issue does include the next installment of the manga, and Jump Square will pick up the story where Akamaru Jump left off. The December issue of Jump Square with the relaunch of D.Gray-man will ship on November 4.

Viz Media released the 14th of the 18 current volumes of the manga this month.

It'll be gone again for a couple months so that the series can start up again!

OKAY! Just read the new chapter... HOLY FREAKING SHIT!

Edit: It's now up on OneManga. I think I might make this an official thread when the series begins in Jump SQ.
