*that's not to say stealing is as low as MPK'ing however, because when you cut down to MPK, remember people are losing XP (and a lot, without a raise III) and the inconvenience of not being able to strike back (since well, they're dead). If you ask me, MPK is never allowable under any circumstances.

I got this information from 2 of your linkshell members along with ToDs for HNMs.

You need to secure your linkshell watch..

You have TWO One is an HNM shell (Which shouldnt have anyone not assosiated with it inside of it) and your normal shell (Which shouldnt have any information about your HNM linkshell in it)
Thats why you have an HNM Shell

Just a little advice if you find yourself in this situation again:

Train MPK can be dealth with fairly easily, if you're prepared. First off, you need a bard, blm, or rdm/blm on MPK watch. Once you see the big train a coming, this person needs to disband, this is crutial. When the train arrives, your MPK controller casts horde lullaby/sleepga, and run the train back to where it came from. If it's a brd, hymnus is nice to have up, reraise for blm/whm, if you don't mind taking a big exp loss.

The reason behind disbanding is first off a healer might see your hp and heal you, getting hate. Second resting mages will get hate, and the train with come running back to you after it's done killing MPK controller.

Back to topic on maseki, one of the quotes struck me as so like maseki that I started laughing. I'd rather not dig through the thread to find it, but the one about bringing soo many people to camp a weak NM. Maseki, and some members of his ls, are the minimalist HNM hunters. They like to show up with as few people as possible to maximize their own profits. But hey, I'd rather take 18 people to bune and get the drop than take 4 and lose the claim. Oh no, I only get 500k if the sword drops that way. My thought is that so do 17 of my friends, not like that extra money is going nowhere or to some other random stranger.

Pretty damn cheap maseki, why would you MPK with weapons though? You definately need to take MPK 101. Weapons only sound aggro, and from the picture you weren't placing them in the ideal spot to aggro them. There's freaking undead there that aggro low hp from a huge range, that's what all the asshole serket MPK'ers use.

I lost respect for your maturity when you quit mo's god ls because you weren't allowed to lot on crimson boots abj (btw these are leaping boots +15hp/mp, not sure why he wanted them so badly)

I lost respect for your integrity when you stole ToD's from the lsmes on svina's shell.

And now you MPK another shell on serket cause they CC'ed you, congrats, you are now Lucifar in my eyes.
 
I never have (at least, not intentionally, nor even to my knowledge) MPK'ed anyone. Nor would I...I'm a WHM. I'd die the second I tried pulling something on my own. :wink:

Really though, I just don't see the point. You don't get a claim, so what, go camp something else or do something else. You didn't get easy money at level 10, don't expect yourself to deserve easy money now (as nice as it'd be - I've yet to break 1mil after a crapton of camps/farmings/failed drops, but luckily I'm fine after a well-placed vent).
 
I wasn't there. I wasn't even in the shell. NAF is my shell and unless something like happened it always will be.

Weapons also magic aggro, so I guess maybe he was hoping they'd cast something? Not like they're hard to kill or anything.

Ah yeah, never thought of that, but at least he had the common sense to be the total dick and have a cronie cast diaga, to make sure they didn't sleep.

But yeah, I can straight up solo one of those weapons with double paeon easily with my bard, no sleep needed, so I'm not sure why he picked them. Ghosts have that AoE curse move, some skele's cast blm spells.

Well i turned up late for serket 2day so i didnt see what maseki did but i seen on the screenshots. As for when odon says we killed a exp pt on serket we did, but not intentionally.

I was leading that serket hunt and we claimed him, i told deniro take it into a tunnel. (This is because pheona who is our whm was lvl 66 at the time and still aggro the bats and the beetle on the main floor) So to avoid any links we dragged serket into a tunnel, little did we know there was an exp party there. So i apologise for there deaths, but sure if u see a 10ft high scorpion coming ur way at lvl 20 or what ever they was u would move. >.>
 
BUT You still MPKed them, and from the way it sounds you didnt tell them to move, But i still would like to hear what maseki says i havent actully seen the Screens because my school is a bunch of crack headed beaver fuckers and blocked my proxys so i cant see the picture until i host another proxy or find one...

Oh! And another thing you can do galka.. if you have healers or people who wont be casting on serket, they can just cast sneak. and cure with sneak on because it wont wear ^^;
 
Yea the problem with MPKs is by the time you realise you are being MPKed its usualy to late.
 
Goes to show how people are just too attached to the game. Sorry to hear it watch, mpking is wrong on all levels imo. A lot of bullshit going around with everything now, even simple things are a pain. So sad you can't trust the random person anymore, I thought I knew Maseki decently enough to think he was a nice guy. But I guess this proves me wrong...

Anyways, it's easy to blame groups and whole linkshells for one person's doing. I had some taru smn I think it was, or blm complaining about a pt xping next to us that they were gil sellers, he wanted to mpk them. Of course, our whole pt would of taken the rapt, and we would of ALL gotten mpked. CYA people, cover your ass. I'd have no qualms for disbanding and warping the moment he tried anything, which he did near the end of the pt. This was in valley of sorrows. I don't put up with this stuff, but unless I'm involved already (i.e. camping serket with ls and getting mpked because of that or something) I don't get myself involved.

o, not to be on anyones sides, but i cant make out if that says Maseki or Masaki... i know both exist on server but that letter after the s i cant make out... looks like a E or maybe an A.. >.< ever thot of that? ;)

If you steal claim, and don't take over hate, the mob will proceed to attack their tank, who has lost a large portion of his hate control, so soon the healers will grab hate, and they will die quick, how is that not a MPK?
