D2 Shout

I find it funny when people get so offended when they're called "noob" that they have to flame the person that did and make it seem like they're flaming about /shouting for a D2.

ill give out a d2 if it doesnt inconvenence(sp) me. most of the time for free. i dont see anything wrong with shouting for a d2 in town either. some people dont have blm to 17 or want to use CP or ISP for a warp scroll. people shout for tele's why cant they pay for a d2?

example...
i was going back to dunes at lvl 9, my hp was set for selbania for easier access. i grabed a d2 (from a friend not shout) to make it quicker and cheaper for me than getting a tele-dem.

also...
silly kids and your warp cugals. get a tele-dem, mea, holla and travel through sea /sigh (oh wait most people cant do that guess thats why i dont buy warp cugals :/)

I'm not sure which is the better way to ask for a warp: via shouting or tells. Any blm out of shout range is going to be a long travel to get a warp in the first place, so shouting ensures that the warp won't be entirely inconvenient. I most often get solicited for a warp by tells, and the odds are uncanny how often the request comes from entirely across a zone. Still, shouts are annoying, and lots of people filter them. I think a single shout, then waiting a bit, and then sending tells is probably the way to go. If you want bonus points, offer to travel to the blm's position, and don't ask the blm to come to yours. I don't particularly mind travelling, because I spend most of my game time doing nothing but wandering and chatting, but most other blms actually have things to do.

You know what would be really awesome? If there was an item with a certain amount of warp charges. I'd call it a "Warp-Cudgel"

I have 5 and a Trick Staff II, but sometimes I am silly and forget to bring one. I normally travel to the BLM. If they're chaining mobs I'll wait til the chain is done. If I can help cure I help cure.

yea people should atleast travel to the BLM who is warping them since sed BLM is doing them a favor and saving them a 10+minute walk <,<

I always have at least 4 versions of warp readily available at any time, anyway.

Teleport ring (for crags) I usually carry Altep. Buying it from AH and reselling at a vendor practically makes it free.

Olduum Ring

Warp Cudgel

and Warp Scroll

Bloodport ftw

I'm usually willing to give a free D2 if I get a tell asking for it (although this usually backfires so that I have to find them ><). I probably wouldn't randomly offer to a shouting person though...annoyingly repetitive shouting would get them no D2, even if they were right by me.

Fucking people these days. Shouting for D2s. What's next? Shouting for teleports? If it comes to that I'm quiting the game.

Woot! Someone shout for a teleport quick!

 lol

we cant lose him that way. its to easy.

im 99% of the time on smn so i get asked for tele's all the time. so far i've been spared of the rude ones. save once in windy i got a blind invite from someone. after i dont accept for 10 seconds he THEN asks for a tele. i declined and he appologized for the bilnd invite. at least he was polite.

i never minded d2'ing anyone in or outside town. they usually would pay me something anyways for the effort...

I do the teleport-zone-trick if I don't want to get tele'ed myself.
I have the people gather by the zone line where I tell them to meet me and start casting and watch the % meter.

Once it hits like 51% i zone into the next zone and i can still zone back into the city and go my merry way :P

Saves me time by alot ^^

so at 51% you leave the zone come back they leave and you stay?

not since you took off your 1337 sig with the flying pandas and ATV riding tarus <,<

lol Feets do your stuff, I run back to jeuno from crawlers nest its a short trip and on the way I might beat up a few gobbues, get some tree cuttings maybe make a few gil, save or meet some interesting players. Getting a D2 takes all the fun out of traveling. :)
