No listings of a Daison on FFXIah.com must have gotten wiped at last banning phase. The dude could have just called paypal right? Maybe he shouldn't have watched so much pr0n.

The guy being able to pronounce all the names correctly makes me wonder if its not a friend trying to get back someone he knows IRL

Because it's sooooo tough to figure out how to say "Daison" or "Carbuncle." Surely I hope you know Carbuncle isn't a Final Fantasy term, but the name of an actual gem(of which the Final Fantasy one is named after.)

He did mess up on saying the WoW Server name.

Whether the pronunciation was correct or not is totally subjective.

Anyway, I doubt that it's someone who is trying to get back at someone he knows irl.. I mean why film himself? Unless this friend got someone else to be filmed on video... This is where my brain starts getting boggled....
 
$50 bucks??? I can pay him $100 to make him shut up. I don't think anyone would take his offer serously. He should at least offer $100+ for that kind of work...
 
I'd say it's a scam simply because the whole idea of him throwing away that much money for something so stupid after losing $3200 as is just seems...highly unlikely.
 
Well, he might be taking legal action as well, but wouldnt you wanna fuck over the person that stole your money as much as possible? I know I sure as hell would.

i mean...if my paypal got fucked up and someone stole 3k from me i wouldnt be offering $50 to people to kill his characters and i definatly wouldnt have my own email address about it

The Handle ID(Which he is referring to,
handleid.jpg
) isn't the same thing as PlayOnline Login ID. GMs can get Handle IDs, and can contact you on seperate character if you're muling or whatever. You can get other peoples handle IDs on friend lists and searches. So the ability to pull them up in-game doesn't seem impossible by any means.

I dunno, if it was a hoax he wouldn't tell people to kill someone in FFXI because it's pretty easy to avoid any chance at all at getting killed in this game, thanks to no open PVP. If he was really into the games at all he'd know that.
