Maybe that's because DRAGOONS DON'T PULL. How many times do we have to tell you that the only ranged weapon we have access to are pebbles, and there is no way in hell am I going to be carrying about stacks of 12 pebbles to pull when Dragoons are in no way meant to pull. And how is it sad as shit if the Dragoon was doing more damage than the Dark Knight? We are DD to. Get used to it. I know that this wasn't the point of your thread, but that gives you know right to bash our job.
 
Your drk obviously had very very poor gear (sorry if you said that in your post, i read it a couple of days ago). Im not trying to sound great but at level 57 i out damage my level 60 drg friend melee wise, just his wyvern pretty much pulls up the damage to the same i was doing. Also your drk should of been pulling no matter what damage he was doing, like Lanien said, drgs have no ranged weaps except pebbles, Drks get x-bows and bows.
 
This is why account selling is against TOS. I don't know the "Old guy" But fuck him none-the-less for making our server an even more shitty place.

Don't expect a Dragoon to be a badass puller. That's just stupid. You know when a Dragoon gets practice pulling? When there isn't anyone else to do it.

Your Dark Knight should of been pulling, but he was a moron so be glad your Dragoon was willing.

The puller is one of the last thing a party ever considers, but directly effects the xp. Now THERE is a flame for the future.

Well, fuck me for agreeing with Krono :twisted:, but I see lots of flaming the new guy (which sounds deserved) but lots of gushing towards the old guy. Fuck the old Dalimar too.
 
Well thx for all the DRG flames on me, for bashing the DRG race, but the DRG was the leader and he was the one bragging about pulling etc. Wasn't my decision. The reason I said he was slow on pulling, was after ever match, he'd just stand there until someone reminded him to pull. K? thx. And yeah at the same level, DRKs should do more dmg than DRGs. Maybe we should start another post on why so many ppl hate DRGs, of course if it's not already in exsistance (Even tho I don't hate DRGs in any way, but since all you DRGs seem to assume everyone else hates you all... put it together).
 
i gotta say Dalimar was a pretty kickass guy, but he did sell his account which really isnt the way to go... but thats his decision and he made money so all the power to him...

to add to the nubness of this Dalimar wannabe, i saw him today seeking a pt as drk/blm...

and dont say fuck the old Dalimar because you didnt know him... thats just dumb

I wasn't assuming anything. You complained about the Dragoon being a bad puller. We aren't pullers. If you mentioned that the DRG was being a douche, then I wouldn't have said anything. :P

Yes I did sell my account. I'm sorry to those who hate me for that but I spent time/money/blood/sweat/tears into Dalimar and I think making a little of that back was up to me. If it makes you feel better I'm sorry and I miss my char. seeing as how I quit WoW and came back to FFXI and started all over from scrach I kinda screwed myself. Just rewards I guess.

Kinda sad concidering that I had scythe and THF lvl'd and rdy to go with Guilotine + SATA.

It's likely that he had a blm sub for warp and was doing something outside of jeuno. I've had multiple invites while seeking as a mnk/blm when I'm out crafting, or farming, or just killing time somewhere other than my mog house. It's not hard to change your sub before you meet your party, and he might have forgot to change it before heading to camp. I've done that before too.
