M rating? HA!!! these games are not fun either.. Mario Party = RETARDEDLY BORING!!! same with all those mario games... the only good ones are the Marios for NES and SNES (excluding cart and party cause those still sucked) and Mario 64... the rest suck... GC, I will admit, is superior in performance.. I am not stupid.. I know this for a fact ^^ but it's GC only games are lacking ^^ PS2 tends to have all the games I wanna play ^^v some that are only on GC and PS2 and others that are PS2 and X-Box or some that are just PS2 ^^v GC and X-box DON'T offer me the games I would like to play so I hate those systems as they bring me no entiretainment ^^v oh.. and graphics a game does not make.. dumbass... Gameplay and Story within a game matter to me.. that's why I hate sports games as they have boring gameplay and no real story to it >_> and Metroid has an awesome story.. ^^ it's gameplay just bores me

Doesn't matter what you think about the GC, Capcom thinks it rocks. PS2 is the whore of the gaming world. Everyone gets a ride and it has a far greater percentage of shitty games vs good games then any of the other systems. If you put out 5 billion games chances are 100 of them will be good. Quantity vs Quality...Yay :?

If morons would stop investing in shitty hardware developers would stop putting games on it. I think the damn X-box is better than the PS2, and I hate the X-box. PS2 has Square and if they didn't, frankly I wouldn't own one.

I own a PS2 and a Playstation and it vexes me that I'm one of the idiots that bought into the peice of crap because of freakin squaresoft. It's really a shame that FF: Spirits within was such shit and Sony had to bail SE out financial ruin because if they didn't I'm pretty sure they'd jump at the opportunity to develope their FF series on one of the better systems....

Im having trouble killing the guy with the superior chainsaw in the port lvl. I try to shoot him with the shotgun but he doesnt die. and the one hit kills piss me off ; ;

and Im not a PS2 fanboy nor a Nintendo Fanboy.

The way I understand it RE4 is due out on the PS2 in october anyway.

FACT: RE4 will be a washed down port of the Game Cube version on the PS2 -- part of a horror game is visual ambiance . . . visual ambiance that has been created taking advantage of the Gamecube's hard ware capabilities . . . will it be as effective on the PS2 as it wasn't the developer's primary concern?? I highly doubt it.

PS2 has a lot of great games sure, but HATING the other systems is only cheating you of a lot of great games . . . stop being such an anal ass hat.

For the last lvl with the chainsaw men from hell it took me about a bloody hour . . .

I used Hunk (stage 3) since he has a ton of grenades.

But what I did is saved the exploding barrels until the chainsaw dudes came out and lured them next to them and POW the blast stuns them and I dumped a clip in them . . . you need to be to close with the shotgun and one shot won't stun them . . . Leon just isn't good for that stage
 
ohhh, ; ; Im using leon since I havent unlocked any of the others yet. Do you know what score you need to get to unlock a new guy? most Ive gotten when I actually survived was 22k and I got rank 2

oh.. and I don't hate the X-Box only that microsoft made it (Microsoft should burn in hell) and I don't hate the GC.. I like gaming.. but not to the point where I'm gonna have a room filled with stuff I'm not gonna have time for... I have a PS2.. and that's all I play.. if that... I play that and FFXI at the most.. and I left my PS2 at home cause I don't have time for it here in college... FFXI is about all I play and I play that for a good 4 hours at the most during the weekday... I enjoy spending time with friends more.. or I have obligations like school work and clubs and meetings and work... and I didn't know they were bringing it back to PS2.. by bad.. I don't really make it priority to keep up on the news of the gaming world.. most of the time.. I don't really care.. usually my friends are the ones who tell me what's coming out and I wait for it to come out and RENT it or BORROW it first before even deciding to buy it...

I never said I hated the systems... look through all my fucking posts and you'll see this.. I never EVER said I hated the systems.. I hate the games for the systems usually.. and yes I use Mac.. the only reason I have a PC is for FFXI.. that's it.. cause I'd rather not use VPC for something like FFXI.. but that's it.. Macintosh is better and more stable even though it is now Unix based.. Windows is very unstable... and I just don't like the games GC and X-Box have.. those that are only for GC suck in my opinion and those that are X-Box only suck as well (Halo doesn't count it's also on computer.. and Halo II will be as well.. and it's usually better on computer cause more online play, especially with the first one, more maps, and more weapons) and I find that the PS2 has better games only.. have any of you played Disgaea? that's not on any thing but PS2.. and it's awesome.. I play consels primarely for RPGs.. and now I've got class.. I'll be back ><

meh.. well I didn't mean hate them for being what they are.. I don't like their games usually... most of their "System only games" cause they suck... and bore me.. and I would LOVE to know why you think PC is superior to a macintosh or linux computer

Anyway, I read somewhere about RE being on PlayStation first... Well, RE2 did make its way to the N64 eventually, and Resident Evil 0 was originally going to be N64 exclusive. Instead, that was cancelled, and then they remade both for GameCube.

Now to get back on to topic...

I played the Mercenaries once, and it was a pain. I'm sure if I were to play again I might do better...
 
I'm going to end the game discussion, because you're obviously to anal about games to recognize great games even if they don't fall into your tastes. And you're to uninformed to really get into a meaty discussion with me.

NOW!! PCs, Macs, and that other OS for PC

Why Windows? Flexibility, compatability, and ease of opperation.

MAC is definately more powerful when being used for multimedia, but upgrading or replacing hardware is just to bloody expensive and there's no alternative other than Apple products.

Example . . . the keyboard on your Ibook dies and is out of warranty . . . bang that's the cost of a low end 32" TV ($400 CDN)

a PC keyboard?? $20

And Linux is great of back end server operation, but it's still not user friendly enough to work as a widespread personal desktop unless you're quite familiar with it, or someone who is tweaks the holy hell out of it.

By the way, you mentioned stability earlier . . . I've maybe had to unfreeze a locked up windows (2k & XP) system twice in the last 8 months.
My home computer (XP SP1) opperates without antivirus software and gets a lot of net use and has NEVER crashed.

On the other hand . . . Sabs, how often in a year does your Mac at work freeze in a month??

Windows ME and earlier I will not defend because they just aren't that great of a product.
