Thing is, I've killed him once before this time. I duo'd him with a BLM pal of mine, about a year ago, when I had no clue I'd ever level BLM... and the darn thing dropped the earring on the first kill. We were at camp a whole... 10 minutes too.


Now I've spent about 12 hours total on the guy, and I've had my ass kicked on the claim because of that stupid ass patch... but meh. It'll only be that much more sweet when I do get the earring. :spiteful:

So I decided to camp this bastard again... I took my time getting to camp, chatted with some people, made some soup... and lollygagged my way to his spawn.

On my through to the camp, I saw Mistaya, and I stopped and waved to her. She waved back. As I approached the camp, I saw the backpack goblin model hanging out... thought surely there was no way it was him... and preceded to sent Mistaya a tell saying "hello" and all that stuff.


So I get a little closer, and target the gobbie. Sure enough... it's Mysticmaker! :shok: Just hanging out, enjoying the scenery.

Well, I proceed to beat his ass down, and finally... I got my earring.

::edit:: I am also glad it took so long for it to drop for me. I had fun camping him, and the anticipation of "will it drop" was quite thrilling. What can I say, I like the hunt!

I was so desperate
but I tried to camp it again with my hun, and got claim (was shouting to him VOKE VOKE VOKE because there was a blm who already casted something, and I was out of range to cast flash or dia)
