And your reasoning for this is because you don't like DMC or GoW, but you like those games. That's not really a valid reason, especially with Bayonetta, since it's made by the same guy and he's said that Bayonetta is how he wanted to make the DMC games to begin with. Just because you like one game and hate another doesn't mean they're not clones or at least extremely similar.
That is not my reasoning, just a statement. I didn't give a reasoning. The reason I mentioned I disliked the GoW and DMC games should make a fuckin' bulb pop and send that college education you have into working mode. For instance, if someone that I know doesn't like Diablo told me to check out Torchlight, not being much a fan of Diablo myself, I'd be more apt to check it out than if a Diablo fiend told me to check it out.
If you want to consider DMC, GoW, Ninja Gaiden (Xbox and up) to be the same game, that is fine with me, it is your opinion. However, don't try to tell me I should consider a baseball and a softball the same just because their core is the same.
You should have tried this:

I dun get why you'd like Bayonetta but not DMC and then Dante's Inferno but not GoW. Ah well, to each their own. Prolly more a setting/character thing? Or does the gameplay feel better on those two rather than what they're "cloning"??
It spans from small things such as music, color, and visuals to big things such as difficulty, fighting styles, weapon/s used, and the can, cant's, and needs of defending yourself (i.e. In NG Sigma 2 you can't cancel your combo after you start it but in Bayonetta and Dante's Inferno you can block or evade to -cancel- a combo or special and in the GoW games you barely even need to defend yourself).
