Dark Sector

I lose interest in this game every day. They need to release it before I refuse to buy it.

I concur :P it looked fun when I first saw it but now I'm kinda going "hmmm"

why? xD I like the concept they've built on, and the game play reminds me of Resident Evil, which together with Silent Hill, are two of my favorite games.

cause so many other things keep taking my interest away from it XD don't get me wrong, I love that style of gaming but it's not my favorite and so when more of my favorite styles come out I wanna get those XD

Meh, why chose? Get them all!

not enough money :(

Pushing another Action FPS at this day and age is just white noise. I'm not saying i hate them or anything, but shit, they are all starting to run together for me.

I don't know about yall, but im getting tired of shooters all together. Like Make said, they are all running together lol, hell they are starting to feel the same to me.

I just want some good Adventure games for awhile, also throw in a couple good RPG's

I don't like most of them, like Halo and war games. Resident Evil, Silent Hill etc. are fun though. Partly due to them not being pure FPS's like Halo, and have a somewhat adventureish feeling to them.

If someone with photoshop skillz (something i don't have) would shop Master Chief's head on Turok's body (from the SS where he is almost getting bitten by the raptor) and put it in a CoD4 level. That would be just grand.

Necro, but this game is about a week away, and *still* has yet to show anything to warrant more than a rent from me.

Anyone else feel the same, especially since i know Rainbow 6 will just eat up most of my time anyways?

Avoid this game, most mags just gave it extremely low scores and X-Play gave it a 2/5. Basically from the content I witnessed it fails at story/gameplay/online content. Basically they said its an extremely shitty gears of war with crappy AI and the roll/cover button is the same button so you end up rolling instead of covering most times which leads to death.

One plus though is that some of the locations and scenery are cool, but thats about it. If you want to play this game, rent it folks. Save yourself 60 bucks.

I played an early build of the game a year ago. It felt slow, and completely unoriginal. The only thing I remember liking was the fire, which looked beautiful for such an early version of the game.

The story is nothing that hasn't already been done a million times, and the gameplay brings nothing to the table.

I don't trust most mags review of things ever since they didn't give N+ even a decent review. I was probably just planning on beating it at work and then never have to touch it again.

The roll/cover button is the same in most games that use a roll/cover system, so that's not really a down side.

I'll still probably buy it though, no matter how much i don't want to, /sigh.

The game is surprisingly fun. Its a little hard to aim with how tweaked out the sensitivity is, but it seems like it would be a fun play. I didn't even finish playing the first level before i had to close, but its story doesn't seem to be half bad either (although nothing really original, but what is these days?)

this game rox, been playin just one night and cant stop!! had to put down dynasty warriors 6 and viking for awhile just to complete this one!

I'm beginnin' to wonder if CoD4 created some kind of unearthly paradox that's makin' all action games that follow it just horrible. /sigh, the wait continues for me.

Eh, i wouldn't say its horrible. Its no CoD, but i think that they come from completely different generes and market to different people. I'm interested in trying out the multiplayer, but i would suggest against buying it, just because you probably won't get the play you expect.

Plays and looks sort of like Gears, but has the shitty Kane & Lynch aiming system that i really wished shooters would walk away from.
