Darth buys Velocious Belt from RMT

i wish i could buy gil, but all my money goes to porn~ ( /,\); In anycase, how much gil are these things?

He bought the belt or he didn't.. who cares?.It's not the RMT who ruin the game but the players who buy the gil to buy stuff off of them.If you aren't buying gil then you aren't really supporting RMT.If darth hadn't bought it someone else might have so he probably saved him the trouble.

I'd buy one, if I had the gil. Just so I didn't have to sit around waiting for it to pop to lose claim.

There's no shame to be had in buying an item, you all buy sushi and ninja tools on the AH, I guess that means you've all funding RMT activities aswell.

Get a grip guys, there's no such thing as "clean gil".

Knowingly trading gil directly to an RMT for a belt that was cheated to get (most likely but can't be proven) is different then buying off the AH.

There is also the small chance that you are buying from a legitimate crafter off the AH and while you aren't knowingly buying from an RMT at the AH, at least their craft skills are't botted.

Try paying attention to the thread. Metachronism has no evidence at all, the only thing he brought to the thread was a description of the events saying "I know you don't like me, but trust me this is what happened." That's called no evidence at all, all Darth would have had to do is come on and say he didn't buy it, no clue why they bowed to him and the discussion would have stagnated there. Metachronism completely failed in his task of making a worthwhile accusation because his entire accusation was only conjecture.

You might trust Metachronism, but he's got a reputation as a troll with a thesaurus around here, so obviously not everyone will believe what he's saying without any kind of proof. Even if it was someone you trusted implicitly, there's nothing wrong or foolish about wanting to see some proof rather than just believe unsubstantiated rumors. For about the 7th time this thread, no one said "You're lying, I don't believe you at all," they only said "can you prove it?" Also, people were believing Darth had bought the belt after the RMT said he did. Stop making shit up and learn to read what people are actually saying, it'll make you stop looking so foolish with these posts.

Chinis is the only one who brought any evidence to this thread, metachornism didn't, and that's why he failed.

Well, RMT likely just got upwards of 20mil for a couple hours of work. That's 20mil out of legit players pockets and into theirs, to be returned to ours later after someone gets trigger-happy with their credit card.

Granted they would make 20mil one way or another, it's what they do. But with enough griefing from legit players, stealing, scamming, etc. We can make their jobs difficult, which is good as it may drive them away from non-profitable camps and into the guaranteed market of money such as food, shihei, etc.

Those are small-margin markets and they make less profit per capita this way. If we can drive their profit margins low enough, they won't be able to afford so many RMT characters per server or possibly can't afford to buy accounts like they have in the past. That means less RMT camping the NMs we want.

With collaborative effort, we can reduce their numbers. We can't get rid of them but that's a falsified dream anyways. But bending the rules and making exceptions, such as this scenario, don't help the public reach that goal.

Darth knows it's here if he has people defending him and doesnt know then he really is dumb, which I highly doubt. We wont see him post, it's like feeding raw meat to lions

speaking of getting a grip, thats a really poor excuse. its like buying stolen items on the street. sure it its the same item physically, but it was obtained illegally. just like RMT are illegal on the game, the items were obtained illegally that way.

its one thing to buy them from legitimate players, another to support RMT.
