Yeah the relic weapons all got a buff to remain the absolute best weapons in their categories; they also now give attack or accuracy +25 instead of +20 and have (significantly) higher base damage across the board.

That's some sexy stuff. I bet that Perle set will be bullshit hard to get though... looks like most of the new lvl 76-80 gear obsoletes a HUGE proportion of the current endgame sets... nearly all abjurations and salvage gear are basically rendered obsolete. Very few pieces are still good - notably, looks like a couple pieces of Hecatomb will remain the best options for weapon skills.

I think the E.abj set just shit itself, as a note. Even the body's probably not useful anymore in light of the new stuff. The land kings can all go fuck themselves, all that's left there now is lolRidill and Defending Ring.

It's about time that old content stopped being the perpetual endgame cycle. I'm sure some people will still go for them, depending on how hard some of the new gear is to obtain - I'm sure Fafhogg and KB will never go un-camped - but they won't be nearly as desireable or over-crowded.
