Rank 10...Know it all... yet, somehow, doesn't know anything.
We all know players like it. Hell, some of us may even have them in our shells, heaven forbid.

My two years away from the game made, or helped, me forget players like this.

But this Rng, who consistently "forgot" that I asked for MP and repeatedly pulled when I had under 20% MP at times... (and level sync'd, so no Refresh) made it all come back.

My hat is off to you, though.
Your inability to play this game was both astonishing and awe-inspiring.

I wish you well on your quest to win a "cure off" versus a Red Mage, especially a merited red mage.
If you play your BLM nearly as well as your RNG, I'd be impressed if you managed to get a single spell off.

Here's the resolution to this case study:

When you have someone that insists on pulling when you have no MP to work with, no refresh or sublimation at your disposal, you continue to rest until you have the MP to cure with, that will give the puller a hint. Also spam your MP status macro over and over again, that will give your party members a hint. That's worked for me all the time. :D

Rank 10 dont mean anything really these days I've seen entire Linkshells take their members from rank 1-10 Bastok in one day with as many noobs along for the ride as possible as a select few do all the real work required. Kinda like partying these days too lol some people work hard and others ride along for free. ^^

Unless the pty leader... also believes... your MP is not important....
Then... you have a problem

In that case then you just leave. Personally if you notice that I'm not healing you like I did at the start and your in yellow HP or below too much, you'd think (LOLing as I type this) someone would notice.

What level was this, what camp, and how many people died? 20% MP without refresh is more than enough to keep a pt alive especially if there's a tank or everyone has a way to mitigate damage. I always made it a point to tell the puller not to stop unless I asked them to (and I wouldn't ask them to stop if I had 20% MP). Do you have a retarded /p macro for every action you do? Something along the lines of: "I am casting Cure 3 on <t> now." or "Here <t>, make your own mojo. Regen!" (taken from actual rdms I've partied with). That's usually a quick way to someone's blist, which would make it kind of hard to know that the rdm is wanting more mp than what they actually need before each mob.

I'm also willing to be that the following were grossly exaggerated because you needed more ammo for a terrible-to-begin-with flame:

Reword as he doesn't know or care what your mp comfort zone is, which I'm guessing is too high to begin with.
Your inability to play this game was both astonishing and awe-inspiring.
Unfounded since he was doing his job which consisted of dealing damage and pulling new mobs.

I've been in a couple shells with dawnn, and he has always been a player who is easy to work with. In fact, he's a member of a little dynamis shell you just joined.

"I am casting Cure 3 on <t> now." or "Here <t>, make your own mojo. Regen!" (taken from actual rdms I've partied with).

I shit you not, Summoners who have had ridiculous macros for bringing out Avatars or releasing them made it to my blist faster than anyone else ever could.

Either way, from what I remember, you have an MP pool, so use it. If you're running out of MP prematurely, you're overcasting or are casting the wrong spells.

Learn about FOV> get the refresh from there. If in the past get refresh/regen sanction(this includes the other pt members although they're usually too lazy to do something so simple/useful.)

Countering what you are saying first off. If you blist someone in your PARTY you should first off let the party know, otherwise no matter what you say it is your fault for not knowing the red mage needs rest. If Dawnn blisted Neville which I am pretty sure that is what you are insinuating... because you are horrible at being tactful, that is Dawnn's responsibility to let the party know. If that was me I would have just never cured him because of the fact that he was ignoring what I had to say. Regardless of whether that mages comfort zone is 20% or if it is 50%, the fact of the matter is that it is his comfort zone. Personally if the puller would continue to pull without letting me rest, I would have let the idiot die and laughed at him/her.

I know at level 40 I as a taru had 420MP. 20% of that would be 84, which might be ok for me. HOWEVER I know Neville is a hume and at 40(they could have been lower) he would have had 280MP which would give him 56MP. In all honesty that isn't enough MP to keep the tanks of today's Vanadiel alive.

As per your quote

If you seriously think that his job as a puller stops at pulling new mobs then you are sadly mistaken. His job is to make sure that the party is able to continue to survive, this also includes the mage having enough MP.

I guarantee that Neville knows more about this game than you Carste, that guy has been around since 1k swords and Affinity. I find it hilarious that you mock his MP comfort zone, because I am pretty sure that he knows it a bit more than you do.

I've heard several stories about Dawnn fyi Carste, while some pleasant, I've heard ones where this person is very difficult to work with. Especially this person's Samurai.

I have no idea if this actually happened, just trying to come up with a likely situation my tactless self has been in before. And last time I blisted a pt member (jaderattlesnake), I let someone know even though the pt ended 2 mobs later.

If that was me I would have just never cured him because of the fact that he was ignoring what I had to say. Just because a mob is being pulled doesn't mean you have to stand up as soon as the mob gets there. If you have the mp then yes, stand up drop a slow/para/dia, otherwise let the tank toss a cure on himself or let some shadows get eaten. It's not that hard starting with 56 mp. Last low level pt I remember on rdm was garlaige (33ish) with no refresh and only having enough for a cure 3 on the pull.

As per your quote

As far as I know the pt survived (I asked how many people died since it wasn't explicitly stated). If people were dying left and right instead of a random death from a pecking flurry on a berserked shadow-less war, then sure Dawnn would have been doing a terrible job. I also think Neville wouldn't have glossed over this fact in the OP, so I believe the pt was going fine and Nev was forced to make smart decisions about mp conservation.

I guarantee that Neville knows more about this game than you Carste, that guy has been around since 1k swords and Affinity. I find it hilarious that you mock his MP comfort zone, because I am pretty sure that he knows it a bit more than you do.

The game has changed a lot in the past 2 years. I can't comment on this because I have yet to see Nev play, though I hope to get this opportunity in RidersOfRohan. And really, you shouldn't comment either because I have never had the great honor of doing anything with you in-game, unless you're going off the 4 year old anecdotal evidence from reiyn and kelga (using them because they're the only people we know well enough in common) when we were all so terrible we couldn't even low-man limbus a week after getting sea.

I've heard several stories about Dawnn fyi Carste, while some pleasant, I've heard ones where this person is very difficult to work with. Especially this person's Samurai.

All I have here is my unreliable first-hand experience. So you win.

Your first hand experience in shells with the person. If I get information from several people versus one based upon friend defense I'd tend to believe the several stories that match up over your one basis of argument... So yes I do win tyvm.

If your mage asks to rest then you should let the mage rest Carste. If isn't that hard. If my puller continued to ignore my mage as a party leader, I seriously would have stepped in or replaced one of the members.

Carste my opinions of you stem from a different group of people.

And if I remember correctly I was there with you while you all were low manning your first limbus. Don't quote me on it, but I had to show Kelga how to do it the first time he entered.

It's not a friend defense saying I haven't had any problems working with this guy. If it were zaltana, for example, who has been in a few of my shells, I'd have no problem saying he did nothing but whine at every event.

Probably, but I tried to come up with a scenario why dawnn was ignoring the message and also pointed out how princess neville could be less terrible. I did like how ignoring a bad mage (still waiting on level/camp/#deaths to confirm whether or not neville is actually bad) makes someone the worst person to party with ever and full of stupity.

So because someone I hung out with ninja'd a YYR and made you cry for how many years now, I don't know anything about the game?

If the RNG was such an issue, and the party was SO stressful that a flame had to be made, then why not just leave the pt? You're a 75 "Merited RDM", get a merit pt. Why the hell were you dicking around with 5k/hr lowlevel parties? Stupid thread is stupid.

The only experience I have with Dawnn at all is on this board, wherein they said that macroing in gearswaps for Dancer was too much blinking. I'll spare my personal opinions because they're unwarranted in this particular flame, but it does say a bit about a person who refuses to gearswap stuff on a job that should have gearswaps for every JA every 15 seconds. Post's still up on the Dancer board.

lol, honestly if a person doesn't wait on a mage or a tank to pull. Then yes that person is as bad as the bad person in the party. If, hypothetically speaking, a mage needs 100MP to keep going in a party yet a puller pulls when the mage has 50 MP causing a death; then the puller is equally an idiot. In this scenario Neville, who is a guy, wanted the puller to wait a few ticks before pulling. Dawnn ignored the issue from what I read causing a general frustration from the healer. Like you said yourself, there was no death so I don't see how you can base any argument that the mage was bad. The mage kept everyone alive even though he asked Dawnn on several occasions to slow down the pulls.

You ask Neville to tell you the party specs, but I have YET to see Dawnn even come to the table and base a counterargument. Why don't you ask your friend since you are defending him so much. I'll remind you that I gave the HIGHEST level that Neville could be. If it was any lower it'll make Dawnn look worse. 20% of neville's MP was around 50-55MP at 40. Lower than that and it'll be 3 MP lower per level.

I don't see how you hanging out with Soulstar, Xean, or Zerayla has any bearing to my basis on this argument. But think what you want.

Bolded what you said just incase you forgot. I can only go by what you say in here dude. You said so yourself that you have been in a few shells with the person just like Zaltana. I still say friend defense.

In that case then you just leave. Personally if you notice that I'm not healing you like I did at the start and your in yellow HP or below too much, you'd think (LOLing as I type this) someone would notice.

lol in low level parties with pullers like that... I used to let them go to red if they didn't allow me to rest. Either that or I used to rest till I thought my MP was adequate then get up... regardless of the parties well being.

Thats if the puller was being a tool.

Time spent ingame doesn't always equate to knowledge about it.

This sentence also screams something about a kettle too.

How did you know (I only blisted zalt during some events because of the damned macros)

Is this the same Dawnn that solos stuff on sam/dnc a lot?

Yeah, that's pretty terrible. I'm a strong advocate for blinking like a christmas tree.

Ok, maybe bad is the wrong word. How about lazy? "Slow down the pulls because I have to focus to keep everyone alive and would rather gimp our xp/hr with my leet merited rdm so that I can play on facebook at the same time."

You ask Neville to tell you the party specs, but I have YET to see Dawnn even come to the table and base a counterargument. Why don't you ask your friend since you are defending him so much. It's not so much that I'm defending dawnn as it is I'm calling out a bad and/or lazy rdm. The only camp a rdm, "especially a merited rdm", should be wasting their time without refresh is east ronf (s). So I was assuming 37-39 (assuming before convert as well). Your number isn't including gear which would up that 20% by a little bit, and refer to what I said earlier in this thread about how not to suck as a low level healer.

I don't see how you hanging out with Soulstar, Xean, or Zerayla has any bearing to my basis on this argument. But think what you want.
This was from you saying:
Carste my opinions of you stem from a different group of people.
Unless you meant the shakenbake crew - which I don't believe you did because it was funny how bad you were wanting to ride Audino's and J-m-l's cocks - I assume you used that quote as a counter for this:

Get your random arguments straight.
