Tekken's always been a pile of shit compared to SC or Virtua Fighter and MvC2 was a great game... in 2001.

Virtua Fighter and Soul Calibur can turn into a masher's game quick, can't get away with that shit in Tekken. And MvC2, you can still find tons of people poppin querters in it, it's old but there hasn't been a better "Vs." series release to top it

Soul Calibur, maybe, but you mash in VF and you lose. Period.

As for MvC2, I'd say the CvS series was much better. And no more MvCs because Capcom lost the Marvel license a few years back.

Give me CvS2, Guilty Gear, Third Strike - hell, even Alpha 3 over MvC2 nowadays.

Lol! DDR rox0rs (blasphemy! :lol: ) Yeah you'll get used to the intensity of it. Practice practice practice!

So if a Goblin played DDR, do you think it would avoid the soing "Drop the Bomb" like the plague?

I LOVE DDR, such a great game. Exercise is usually a chore, and very boring. Keeping in shape while playing a game and seeing your improvement in a score form is such a breath of fresh air, when compared to running on a tredmill or riding a stationary bike. My area doesn't like outdoor exercise much, it's all hilly, which is good for training, but not for just keeping in shape, and the weather has bi-polar syndrome or something because it flashes from rain to shine and back in less time than a bard getting a party.

Neo seems to enjoy camping my topic pops in hopes he gets something good, I'm touched. :wink:

I play DDR once I'm more or less sick of doing other stuff, and unfortunately I've been unable to find a copy of MvC2..and KoF2k3... =\ so best fighting game I got is SUper Smash Bros. Melee, which is, uhm, old.

And regarding the "I don't see how you're tired after 2 songs"....I said a round of songs, as in, one credit (at the local arcade, one credit = 4 songs)
...And that's sorta in reference to the harder Heavy-mode songs, such as Sakura/Saints Come Marching In/Bag/Healing Vision....and Stoic isn't that tough. =P And I can do better if I knew where the f-!k my inhaler was. ^^;

Well, 'tough' to me is usually 'can I SDG this on a constant basis' and the fact that Stoic goes almost a full quarter-beat offsync after the freeze is what throws me off.

And I should really AAA R&P one of these days, I got it to like 3 and stopped trying.

DDR is the shit, i can do 98% of songs on heavy. Favorites are End of the Century, Legend of Maxx, and Holic. <3 <3 <3 DDR!
