The demo came out today on the Xbox Live Marketplace. If you own a 360, I suggest you go download this like... RIGHT NOW. This game is incredible, and it's just a small bit of what the full version will be (which hits stores on Tuesday, btw). I've already played the demo several times and I'm still not bored of it yet. :P
 
Yeah, I picked up my Saints Row and Dead Rising demo at work today and played a bit of both. Let's just say when I go back tomorrow, both are going onto my reserve list.
 
This game is incredible. Right now my character is wearing a Mega Man helmet and a woman's dress. And I dyed his hair red. Why? Because he's the shit. I also have a plastic Mega Buster that shoots foam balls. Then I took a hummer and drove it into a thousand zombies.

Nice, but, I've killed well over 1,000 zombies with mostly swords. Swords > Cars :D
Does it bug anyone else how HARD the boss fights are in this game?

I thought the first one was pretty easy, but the second one with the dude with the sniper rifle pisses me off. I made one of the smoothies that make you /ja "Flee" and ran up to him and hit him a few times with a katana. But he kept smacking me with his rifle. ARRRRRRRRRRRG. Then Brad died.
 
I played the Demo for a while, addicting as hell, gonna pick the game up as soon as I can.
 
How are you getting to the bosses? Do you have to kill X zombies or something.

Best kill so far was i had a knife or hanger or something and this chick was coming upto me so i stabbed here in the face with the knife and then smashed her with the sledge hammer, crazy tight.

You don't have to do it, but if you follow the Case Files, you'll follow the main story, which will eventually lead to bosses. If you don't do the case files, it's mainly just a fight for survival until the chopper gets to the mall. Brad died because he told me not to worry about the boss, but of course he couldn't handle it alone. After he died it gave me an option to just continue the game, or load my last save in case I wanted to continue the story.

My biggest problem with this game is the lack of a checkpoint system. It's not so bad say from point a to point b, but more of an annoyance when you haven't saved for a while, and you get killed by a boss and you have to make your way back to them. Other than that it's zombirific.
 
this game is only for XBox 360? T.T I don't wanna buy another system for only one game that sounds like fun when I have no money >.>
 
My biggest problem with this game is easily the one-save system. I want to have multiple files, one where I kill all the zombies, one where I try to destroy every psycopath (Damn people are hard!), and one where I actually follow the story line. Oh well, its not a big deal...

Anyway, I've found that bosses do not level with you like they do in Oblivion, they stay at the same level. This means that if you play though the game just to level up once or even twice before you start the main story, it will be MUCH simpler to win.
 
I wanna play this game but I don't want an Xbox 360 :| or anything microsoft really x.x bleh... any chance it's coming out for another system? XD (and hopefully fixed some of the problems I hear like the bosses getting stuck on parts of the map and the AI of the humans, not undead, being completely retarded and other things I hear about from http://www.gametrailers.com/ )
 
what? I don't really care for anything on Xbox's consoles. This is the only game I've really been interested in that wasn't on another system. (I liked Halo and Halo 2 but Halo was on PC, not sure if Halo 2 was, and I don't like it so much I really really wanna buy it..hehe). And Microsoft fails so much with things :| unfortunately I have to use Windows for school programs :|
 
It's games like this and Oblivion that really want me to pick up a 360. Me and some friends played it for a few hours, the game is so much fun, nothing is more satisfying then going to a hardware store and bashing in some zombie skulls with a shovel. I also got to see the creepy clown boss, what a gruesome death. Anyone know if this is being released for the Wii or PS3? I got nothing against the 360, but I don't want to purchase a whole system for one game. Most importantly the PS3, since I know I'll be picking that up eventually.
 
ditto to what pupusa said :P I know I'll be getting a PS3 for the many many games I want for it and ya XD and I'll prolly get a Wii too for the games that I'm interested in.. hehe but 360.. only game right now on it that I wanna play is this.. oblivion is on PC so I don't care to get a 360 for that too.
