Speaking from experience drug addiction is horrible. It really takes something to get you to turn away from it. Coke especially is horrible. One line, two lines, fifty lines is just never enough. You pretty much feel like superman. Trying to force him isn't going to work. Sadly his addiction will never be completely over; as he will have to have the will power to never touch it again when he finally does stop doing it.
How do you get him to stop I haven't a clue. The only way to really get him to stop is to get him to want to stop. He has to want this in order for it to work. I would probably still be doing drugs if I didn't get ratted on. I was in the Marine Corps. Doing coke, ecstacy and just about anythign else I could. It took some party where a Ssgt caught one person with it kicked his ass. This person then ratted on everyone. We all did some time. Doing the time wasn't even what made me want to quit. The reason I stopped was because I had joined to Marine Corps to join the best since my family has always been in the military. I wanted to be like all of them. I really always looked up to my dad. The very fact that I knew I had let my dad down was enough to make me take a good look at what I was doing. I have only smoked a little weed here and there since then; maybe had a few too many drinks every now and then also. As far as drugs go thats about all I do. As much as I was pissed at the guy who ratted on me; I am also very grateful that he might have just very well saved my life.
