Hello Krono, and all bored people who may be reading this.

I continue here because I think it would be very rude of me to do this on the original post: being that it's NOT THE FLAMEBOARD and it distracts from the guy who's trying to make a new linkshell.

This is in the linkshell section, a currently unmoderated section. The rules are simple and include no flaming, though currently through lack of board administration and fuctional moderator, they are not possible to be enforced, except by us.

In this thread, Glade attempts to start a God LS. A noble endevour. Let's see how Krono responds.

Heh.. His post was made a day after Glade's. He didn't flame anything, and he wasn't trying to start anything either. For whatever reasons, he felt the need to voice, in a none agressive way, that he felt it was pretty crowded up there, and instead of creating a new shell, offerred a simpler solution of joining one. He even gaveGlade a link to a God shell.

I sure didn't see any flame material there. Hell he even went out of his way to put "Not to be a dick or anything" in there so people like you wouldn't take it the wrong way.

Jesus man.. you really must be bored to pick at something so obscure and miniscule. Not to mention you felt the need to respond back over a full week later... after 3 or 4 other people had posted, whom obviously didn't get irked or anything by what Krono said.

Sorry, I am gonna have to say all my opinions are correct before I make this statement, so as not to confuse anyone as to the validity of them, but I think Firestreak was wrong in calling it a flame, but Krono shouldn't have said anything at all as it was off topic in the thread.

It's like someone asking for help, then someone saying "Shoot yourself, it's easier!" The advice was not asked for in his thread. The fact that he knew where the linkshell recruitment board was, should be proof enough that he was aware other god LS existed and he wasn't interested in joining them over the prospect of making his own.

Now be sure to note that everything I said is correct, since I prefaced my statement saying so.

His original post was not a flame persay. It had no business on the thread, but it wasn't a flame. If I was moderator I would have erased it.

I didn't respond with a flame. I responded with a comment, that was fairly nonaggressive, that even with our lack of moderator, we should follow the rules.

He responded, with a flame.

At which point I have a few choices.

1) Respond with a flame, pulling the thread off topic..

2) Ignore it.

3) My choice: Create my own flame to respond. As far as I'm concerned, this is a continuation of the argument on the last topic, I'm merely making the choice to respond as a flame on the FLAME BOARD instead of respond with a flame on the LINKSHELL board.

After examination of Krono's first statement, is was, as was stated above, non-aggressive, abusive, vulgar, anything. It was a friendly suggestin, however should not been post, yet PMed to Glade, due to it being off topic. I know nothing of Krono, if he is an asshole or a really nice guy, I'm just saying his post was not made as a flame or in any way to attack the OP, it was just slightly off topic and should had ben kept to PMs.

Right Above is the post in question. You made mention of the fact New Orleans was unprepared, which is true, but you also felt the need to equate the moral decay of the city to deserving mass death and destroyed homes.

He hadn't officially resigned as Mod but as demonstrated since he posted he was leaving FF he had done nothing for weeks as a mod. All you have to do to verify is his the search button and type Veteran in the Author. It will list all his posts based on date and you can see there's nothing between his two posts that I linked to.
Furthermore, I didn't flame you. As demonstrated by the opening post here, when I flame someone I will not make snide underhanded remarks I will come out and flame them. I had a point to make, and the point was we need to moderate ourselves.

Yes sky is crowded. Sky is crowded because it's not built to handle as many high levels as exist right now.

If you recall there was a lengthy argument months back when they lowered EXP requirements, and I said then lowering XP>75 was a terrible mistake and predicted sky would become overcrowded. Weren't you one of the pricks who called me elitist for that?
So instead you tell someone that the solution is not to make any more Sky LS?
Even if all the remaining LS just grow larger, how will that solve the problem? There's still too many people who require the items, and more items being required faster than is possible to generate.
On that note if you were trying to build your own LS, how would you like me coming in on the opening page and trying to convince you not to.. on your RECRUITMENT thread? You think that's a neighborly thing to do? You think your LS's leaders would have appreciated on their attempt to recruit people if I had come in and done that to them?

The thing to do isn't to offer a truce then a line later tell someone they are "quite sad." Normally when you want to end an argument the way to do is by pacifying your opponent not attempting to insult them.
