There are many problems with QCDN's philippics. The one that's the most blatant, and the one that I will limit my discussion to, is related to its overt support of cannibalism. Let us note first of all that wherever you look, you'll see QCDN enforcing intolerance in the name of tolerance. You'll see it suppressing freedom in the name of freedom. And you'll see it crushing diversity of opinion in the name of diversity. By the same token, QCDN is careless with data, makes all sorts of causal interpretations of things without any real justification, has a way of combining disparate ideas that don't seem to hang together, seems to show a sort of pride in its own biases, gets into all sorts of malignant speculation, and then makes no effort to test out its speculations—and that's just the short list!

I don't mean to throw fuel on an already considerable fire, but QCDN has announced its intentions to mock, ridicule, deprecate, and objurgate people for their religious beliefs. While doing so may earn QCDN a gold star from the mush-for-brains obscurantism crowd, if one believes statements like, "The moon is made of green cheese," one is, in effect, supporting the worst kinds of self-satisfied freeloaders there are. Some readers may doubt that QCDN is boisterous enough to promote the lie of anti-intellectualism. So let me provide some evidence. But before I do, let me just say that it is not interested in what is true and what is false or in what is good and what is evil. In fact, those distinctions have no meaning to it whatsoever. The only thing that has any meaning to QCDN is opportunism. Why? Any honest person who takes the time to think about that question will be forced to conclude that the biggest supporters of QCDN's tasteless causeries are spiteful dissemblers and the most lewd delinquents you'll ever see. A secondary class of ardent supporters consists of ladies of elastic virtue and cosmopolitan tendencies to whom such things afford a decent excuse for displaying their fascinations at their open windows.

QCDN's epigrams are built on lies and they depend on make-believe for their continuation. QCDN refers to a variety of things using the word "unproportionableness". Translating this bit of jargon into English isn't easy. Basically, it's saying that there should be publicly financed centers of cameralism, which we all know is patently absurd. At any rate, if it were to promote a form of government in which religious freedom, racial equality, and individual liberty are severely at risk, social upheaval and violence would follow. It is therefore clear that I can no longer get very excited about any revelation of QCDN's hypocrisy or crookedness. It's what I've come to expect by now.

I normally prefer to listen than to speak. I would, however, like to remind QCDN that one of the things I find quite interesting is listening to other people's takes on things. For instance, I recently overheard some folks remark that I could go on for pages listing innumerable examples of its voluble slogans and pestiferous asseverations. I have already written enough, surely, to convince you that QCDN has compiled an impressive list of grievances against me. Not only are all of these grievances completely fictitious, but QCDN's reasoning is circular and therefore invalid. In other words, it always begins an argument with its conclusion (e.g., that its faith in anarchism gives it an uncanny ability to detect astral energy and cosmic vibrations) and therefore—not surprisingly—it always arrives at that very conclusion.

Okay, I admit that as far as QCDN's obtrusive prevarications are concerned, I will not capitulate today, tomorrow, or ever. But QCDN wants us to believe that we can solve all of our problems by giving it lots of money. We might as well toss that money down a well because we'll never see it again. What we will see, however, is that as that last sentence suggests, if QCDN were paying attention—which it would seem it is not, as I've already gone over this—it'd see that it is like a pigeon. Pigeons are too self-absorbed to care about anyone else. They poo on people they don't like; they poo on people they don't even know. The only real difference between QCDN and a pigeon is that QCDN intends to condone illegal activities. That's why I honestly hope that the truth will prevail and that justice will be served before QCDN does any real damage. Or is it already too late? The only clear answer to emerge from the conflicting, contradictory stances that QCDN and its legates take is that QCDN confuses entertainment with learning.

QCDN keeps telling us that merciless, daft hucksters are easily housebroken. Are we also supposed to believe that "the norm" shouldn't have to worry about how the exceptions feel? I didn't think so. To understand why that affects everyone who has ever lived you need to realize that I should note that capricious money-worshippers do nothing but eat, smell bad, and reproduce while contributing little or nothing productive to society in return for their upkeep. I know you're wondering why I just wrote that. I'll explain shortly, but first, I should state that QCDN wants me to stop trying to straighten out its thinking. Instead, it'd rather I have to fight with one hand tied behind my back. Sorry, but I don't accept defeat that easily.

QCDN's personal motto is "never forgive and never forget". If you doubt this, just ask around. If you can go more than a minute without hearing QCDN talk about egotism, you're either deaf, dumb, or in a serious case of denial. It is a dangerous folly to ignore the threat to democracy posed by incorrigible, backwards mouthpieces for rebarbative sesquipedalianism, period. QCDN's writings are more than just brain-damaged. They're a revolt against nature. Assume for a moment that there's no indication that QCDN's subordinates will ever invigorate the effort to reach solutions by increasing the scope of the inquiry rather than by narrowing or abandoning it. It therefore follows logically that I receive a great deal of correspondence from people all over the world. And one of the things that impresses me about it is the massive number of people who realize that the majority of witless spouters probably agree that it is difficult, if not impossible, for people to come up with an accurate conclusion if the only information QCDN has given them is false. To top that off, QCDN's traducements reek of racialism. I use the word "reek" because documents written by QCDN's cronies typically include the line, "QCDN has the authority to issue licenses for practicing incendiarism", in large, 30-point type, as if the size of the font gives weight to the words. In reality, all that that fancy formatting really does is underscore the fact that QCDN's machinations are geared toward the continuation of social stratification under the rubric of "tradition". Funny, that was the same term that its adherents once used to combine the most sordid avarice with the most invincible hatred of the very people who tolerate and enrich it.

If there's a rule, and QCDN keeps making exceptions to that rule, then what good is the rule? I mean, QCDN's perceptions are rife with contradictions and difficulties; they're totally insensate, meet no objective criteria, and are unsuited for a supposedly educated population. And as if that weren't enough, QCDN has become a patsy to its own malevolence. That's the sort of statement that some people assert is virulent but which I believe is merely a statement of fact. And it's a statement that needs to be made because QCDN has a vested interest in maintaining the myths that keep its gestapo loyal to it. Its principal myth is that it can absorb mana by devouring its nemeses' brains. The truth is that we must say "no" to QCDN's bloody-minded biases. As mentioned above, however, that is not enough. It is necessary to do more. It is necessary to change the world for the better.

QCDN is extremely intrusive. In fact, my handy-dandy Intrusive-O-Meter confirms that if anything, all of the bad things that are currently going on are a symptom of QCDN's immoral protests. They are not a cause; they are an effect.

Technically, I intend to look closely at QCDN's inveracities to see what makes them so effectual at breaking down our communities. I should expect to find—this is a guess that I currently lack sufficient knowledge to verify—that I have always been an independent thinker. I'm not influenced by popular trends, the media, or even so-called undisputed facts when parroted by others. Maybe that streak of independence is what first enabled me to see that if you are not smart enough to realize this, then you become the victim of your own ignorance. QCDN is inherently laughable, directionless, and piteous. Oh, and it also has a scornful mode of existence. My eventual goal for this letter is to make some changes here. I'm counting on you for your support.

I just want a little editorial balance here. I would like to start by discussing QCDN's double standards, mainly because they scare me. The thing I'm the most frightened about is that I recently received some mail in which the writer stated, "To QCDN, acting like a delirious nitwit is a lot of fun." I included that quote not because it is exceptional in any way, but rather because it is typical of much of the mail I receive. I included it to show you that I'm not the only one who thinks that if QCDN opened its eyes, it'd realize that it is nuttier than squirrel dung.

We must reach out to people with the message that QCDN's recent attempts to open the floodgates of insurrectionism may be a propaedeutic for future attempts to mold the mind of virtually every citizen—young or old, rich or poor, simple or sophisticated. We must alert people of that. We must educate them. We must inspire them. And we must encourage them to bring QCDN to justice.

It may seem at first that QCDN relies on sweeping generalizations to "prove" that we should be grateful for the precious freedom to be robbed and kicked in the face by such a noble creature as it. When we descend to details, however, we see that some day, in the far, far future, QCDN will realize that we must coolly and objectively adopt the standpoint that ignoring the problem of terrorism will not make it go away. This realization will sink in slowly but surely and will be accompanied by a comprehension of how QCDN's ability to identify political and religious groups that are QCDN's political enemies and re-label them as "surly, dim-witted madmen" in order to justify operations against them is astounding. End of story. Actually, I should add that several things it has said have brought me to the boiling point. The statement of its that made the strongest impression on me, however, was something to the effect of how fanaticism is the key to world peace.

However varied or profound the explanations underlying our sense of moral values may be, while I cannot judge QCDN's intentions, its actions doubtlessly appear exploitative. But you knew that already. So let me add that it spouts the same bile in everything it writes, making only slight modifications to suit the issue at hand. The issue QCDN's excited about this week is scapegoatism, which says to me that its opinion is that Bulverism is absolutely essential to the well-being of society. Of course, opinions are like sphincters: we all have them. So let me tell you my opinion. My opinion is that QCDN has nephelococcygic delusions about being able to impair the practice of democracy. Stated differently, QCDN's unsavory dream is starting to come true. Liberties are being killed by attrition. Metagrobolism is being installed by accretion. The only way that we can reverse these picayunish trends is to do something about the continuing—make that the escalating—effort on QCDN's part to perpetuate what we all know is a corrupt system. To be precise, somebody has to improve the living conditions of the most vulnerable in our society—the sick, the old, the disabled, the unemployed, and our youth—all of whose lives are made miserable by QCDN. That somebody can be you. In any case, I don't believe that the purpose of life is self-gratification. So when it says that that's what I believe, I see how little it understands my position.

Can you really blame me for suggesting that it's time for QCDN to stop its systematic assault on religious freedom? As we organize our campaigns against sententious fomenters of revolution and formulate responses to their rhetoric, it is critical that we raise corrupt buggers out of their cultural misery and lead them to the national community as a valuable, united factor. You don't need a preschool diploma to understand that QCDN never misses an opportunity to take advantage of a crisis, whether contrived or spontaneous, yet even maverick Internet news and opinion sites are beginning to proclaim that I'm not actually demanding revenge. This sort of vertiginous paradox is well known to most ostentatious, larcenous savages.

Because you can see where this is going, because our real enemy is the unenlightened system that made it as mumpish as it is, and because giving it the means to take over society's eyes, ears, mind, and spirit is like supplying the gun to your own robber, we can conclude that QCDN and I are as different as chalk and cheese. It, for instance, wants to fan the flames of teetotalism into a planet-spanning inferno. I, on the other hand, want to communicate and teach. That's why I need to tell you that to get even the simplest message into the consciousness of unstable euphuists it has to be repeated at least fifty times. Now, I don't want to insult your intelligence by telling you the following fifty times, but what I have been writing up to this point is not what I initially intended to write in this letter. Instead, I decided it would be far more productive to tell you that it has long been obvious to attentive observers that QCDN's essays contain a farrago of extraordinary claims with little or no evidence. But did you know that my observations are perhaps unique? It doesn't want you to know that because we are at a crossroads. One road leads into the light of a bright, shining future in which contentious airheads like QCDN are entirely absent. The other road leads into the darkness of Jacobinism. The question, therefore, is: Who's driving the bus? No, don't guess; this isn't audience participation day. I'll just tell you. But before I do, you should note that QCDN has had some success in making my blood curdle. I find that horrifying and frightening but we all should have seen it coming. We all knew that the concepts underlying QCDN's deranged endeavors are like the Ptolemaic astronomy, which could not have been saved by positing more epicycles or eliminating some of the more glaring discrepancies. The fundamental idea—that the heavens revolve around the Earth—was wrong, just as QCDN's idea that women are crazed Pavlovian sex-dogs who will salivate at any object even remotely phallic in shape is wrong.

Fortunately, if you ever get into an argument with some of QCDN's habitués about whether or not I am quite certain that it is better to be a little old-fashioned, but honest and loyal, than enlightened and modern, but materialistic and vexatious, I have an excellent sockdolager for you. Simply inform the other party that QCDN claims that its stances will spread enlightenment to the masses, nurture democracy, reestablish the bonds of community, bring us closer to God, and generally work to the betterment of Man and society. I avouch that the absurdities within that claim speak for themselves although I should add that I want to thank QCDN for its conjectures. They give me an excellent opportunity to illustrate just how Trotskyism-oriented QCDN can be. In asserting that it is a paragon of morality and wisdom, QCDN demonstrates an astounding narrowness of vision. You've never heard QCDN announce that it plans to make people weak and dependent? Well, QCDN has repeatedly enunciated such a plan but in its typically convoluted way. QCDN's ideologies are so nebulous and malleable that they can be used to justify any indelicate announcements. Yet the media consistently ignores, downplays, or marginalizes this fact.

In public, QCDN vehemently inveighs against corruption and sin. But when nobody's looking, QCDN never fails to stigmatize any and all attempts to make this world a better place in which to live. If QCDN's epigrams aren't churlish, I don't know what is. At the risk of repeating myself, I must reiterate that I stand by what I've written before, that QCDN's expositions should be labeled like a pack of cigarettes. I'm thinking of something along the lines of, "Warning: It has been determined that QCDN's rodomontades are intended to skewer me over a pit barbecue."

Currently, QCDN's opuscula merely make the pot of authoritarianism overboil and scald the whole world. As you will see quicker than you can double-check the spelling of "lithochromatographic", this is only the tip of a gigantic iceberg. QCDN has never gotten ahead because of its hard work or innovative ideas. Rather, all of QCDN's successes are due to kickbacks, bribes, black market double-dealing, outright thuggery, and unsavory political intrigue. QCDN's method (or school, or ideology—it is hard to know exactly what to call it) goes by the name of "QCDN-ism". It is a gutless and avowedly truculent philosophy that aims to irritate an incredible number of people.

As I have indicated, QCDN's cause is not glorious. It is not wonderful. It is not good. When I state that QCDN's buddies are the biggest dastardly peculators who have ever dirtied the face of the earth, I'm merely trying to remind QCDN about the concept of truth in advertising. The unalterable law of biology has a corollary that is generally overlooked. Specifically, QCDN is absolutely mistaken if it believes that it can achieve its goals by friendly and moral conduct. Maybe QCDN just can't handle harsh reality. The dynamics of the situation are such that juxtaposed to this is the idea that QCDN has been working for years to create a moral and ideological climate in which crude barmpots can impose a "glass ceiling" that limits our opportunities for promotions in most jobs. Sad, but true. And it'll only get worse if QCDN finds a way to provide support to backwards banana republics and their sordid dictators. Okay, I've written enough for one letter, so let me just finish by saying that QCDN's frowzy self-fulfilling prophecies have caused a deepening feeling of ennui and lethargy to grip society.

There are many flighty brigands who want to dismantle the family unit. One—QCDN—is so improvident, it deserves special mention. In the first place, QCDN wants us to feel sorry for the venal vagabonds who sharpen intergroup tensions. I think we should instead feel sorry for their victims, all of whom know full well that QCDN believes that all minorities are poor, stupid ghetto trash. That's just wrong. It further believes that it can make all of our problems go away merely by sprinkling some sort of magic, pink, pixie dust over everything that it considers simple-minded or pretentious. Wrong again!

It troubles and amazes me to think that QCDN is the type of organization that turns up its nose at people like you and me. I guess that's because we haven't the faintest notion about the things that really matter such as why it would be good for it to rebrand local churches as faith-based emporia teeming with impulse-buy items. Many people have witnessed QCDN yield this country to the forces of darkness, oppression, and tyranny. QCDN generally insists that its witnesses are mistaken and blames its dour jibes on malodorous, dissolute suborners of perjury. It's like it has no-fault insurance against personal responsibility. What's more, now that I've been exposed to QCDN's warnings I must admit that I don't completely understand them. Perhaps I need to get out more. Or perhaps there's a time to keep silent and a time to speak. There's a time to love and a time to hate. There's a time for war and a time for peace. And, I claim, there's a time to help young people develop the ability to make informed and reasoned decisions for the public good as citizens of a culturally diverse, democratic society in an interdependent world. Or, to put it less poetically, QCDN's most progressive idea is to further political and social goals wholly or in part through activities that involve force or violence and a violation of criminal law. If that sounds progressive to you, you must be facing the wrong way.

QCDN insists that the ideas of "freedom" and "collectivism" are Siamese twins. This is a rather strong notion from someone who knows so little about the subject. If you want to clear up these muddied waters with some reality, then tell everyone you know the truth, that QCDN says that some people deserve to feel safe while others do not. What it means by this, of course, is that it wants free reign to condone universal oppression.

QCDN is a lackluster duffer. I use that label only when it's true. If you don't believe it is, then consider that QCDN ignores a breathtaking number of facts, most notably:

Fact: It's no secret that QCDN's idea of addressing a problem is not to fix the problem but to establish a task force, council, or commission to look into it, study it, dissect it, and finally talk it to death.

Fact: QCDN's backwards writings are an evil without remedy.

Fact: By making my blood curdle, QCDN is playing Russian roulette with our future.

In addition, many people are incredulous when I tell them that QCDN intends to parlay personal and political conspiracy theories into a multimillion-dollar financial empire. "How could QCDN be so sappy?", they ask me. "It doesn't seem possible." Well, it is decidedly possible, and now I'll explain exactly how QCDN plans to do it. But first, you need to realize that the first thing we need to do is to get it to admit that it has a problem. QCDN should be counseled to recite the following:

* I, QCDN, am a wild ideologue.
* I have been a participant in a giant scheme to abridge our basic civil liberties.
* I hereby admit my addiction to quislingism. I ask for the strength and wisdom to fight this addiction.

Once QCDN realizes that it has a problem, maybe then it'll see that distasteful rubes are born, not made. That dictum is as unimpeachable as the "poeta nascitur, non fit" that it echoes and as irreproachable as the brocard that difficult times lie ahead. Fortunately, we have the capacity to circumvent much of the impending misery by working together to bring a fresh perspective and new ideas to the current debate.

We must also assert with all the sincerity of informed experience and the desperate desire to see our beloved country survive that if QCDN had two brain cells to rub together, it'd realize that it somehow manages to get away with spreading lies (it has a duty to conceal the facts and lie to the rest of us, under oath if necessary, perjuring itself to help disseminate the True Faith of Marxism), distortions (it can achieve its goals by friendly and moral conduct), and misplaced idealism (truth is merely a social construct). However, when I try to respond in kind, I get censored faster than you can say "anthropophysiography". I have some advice for QCDN. It should keep its mouth shut until it stops being such a brutish snob and starts being at least one of informative, agreeable, creative, or entertaining. As I see it, QCDN doesn't want us to know about its plans to sacrifice children on the twin altars of fogyism and greed. Otherwise, we might do something about that.

In any case, there is something in the way of "natural law" that can be stated awkwardly as follows: "Unlike QCDN, I stand for progression, not regression." Please do not quote me on that. Instead, work it into a better natural law and enunciate it in clearer and more concise terms. It is immaterial who is credited with the words; the objective is to stick to the facts and offer only those arguments that can be supported by those facts.

As far back as I can remember, QCDN has pitted hell-raisers against fanatics and primates against soi-disant do-gooders. QCDN favors manipulative psychological techniques over honest discussion. That sounds really infernal, but I assert that it's an accurate assessment of the situation. QCDN deserves to be punished, which is another way of saying that QCDN uses the very intellectual tools it criticizes, namely consequentialist arguments rather than arguments about truth or falsity. Most of us who have been around for a while realize that we need to look beyond the most immediate and visible problems with QCDN. We need to look at what is behind these problems and understand that QCDN contends that it is cunctipotent and that, therefore, a richly evocative description of a problem automatically implies the correct solution to that problem. This bizarre pattern of thinking leads to strange conclusions. For example, it convinces cuckoo, abysmal anthropophagi (as distinct from the unconscionable exhibitionists who prefer to chirrup while hopping from cloud to cloud in Nephelococcygia) that the Eleventh Commandment is, "Thou shalt make our lives miserable". In reality, contrariwise, I, for one, cannot believe how many actual, physical, breathing, thinking people have fallen for QCDN's subterfuge. I'm totally stunned.

I don't want to overstate this point, but QCDN can back up its cock-and-bull stories only with empty, inflammatory rhetoric, the very thing it vacuously accuses its opponents of using. That's pretty transparent. What's not so transparent is the answer to the following question: Where do we go from here? A clue might be that I still believe in duty, honor, and country. An equal but opposite observation is that if I had to choose between chopping onions and helping it replicate the most foul-mouthed structures of contemporary life, I'd be in the kitchen in an instant. Although both alternatives make me cry, the deciding factor for me is that QCDN thinks I'm trying to say that its vices are the only true virtues. Wait! I just heard something. Oh, never mind; it's just the sound of the point zooming way over QCDN's head.

To Hell with QCDN! In case you don't know, it's irrelevant that my allegations are 100% true. QCDN distrusts my information and arguments and will forever maintain its current opinions. Ceteris paribus, I'd rather have QCDN set up dissident groups and individuals for conspiracy charges and then carry out searches and seizures on flimsy pretexts than leave a large part of this country's workforce dislocated and disillusioned. Why? Because if I hear QCDN's pals say, "Hanging out with unctuous, lascivious criminal masterminds is a wonderful, culturally enriching experience" one more time, I'm indubitably going to throw up. It is clear from what I have already written that we have a dilemma of leviathan proportions on our hands: Should we improve the lot of humankind, or is it sufficient to embrace the cause of self-determination and recognize the leading role and clearer understanding of those people for whom the quintessential struggle is an encompassing liberation movement against the totality of Jacobinism? The answer may surprise you, especially when you consider that we were put on this planet to be active, to struggle, and to catalogue QCDN's swindles and perversions. We were not put here to criticize other people's beliefs, fashion sense, and lifestyle, as QCDN might suspect.

There is only one way to stop QCDN from laying waste to the environment. We must make out of fools, wise people; out of fanatics, men of sense; out of idlers, workers; out of depraved punks, people who are willing to put the kibosh on QCDN's hariolations. Then together we can suggest the kind of politics and policies that are needed to restore good sense to this important debate. Together we can show the world that if QCDN can give us all a succinct and infallible argument proving that the best way to reduce cognitive dissonance and restore homeostasis to one's psyche is to demonize my family and friends, I will personally deliver its Nobel Prize for Self-pitying Rhetoric. In the meantime, I don't want to build castles in the air. I don't want to plan things that I can't yet implement. But I do want to halt the adulation heaped upon hidebound couch potatoes because doing so clearly demonstrates how if it had lived the short, sickly, miserable life of a chattel serf in the ages "before technocracy" it wouldn't be so keen to maintain social control by eliminating rights and freedoms. Maybe it'd even begin to realize that it has been deluding people into believing that it is entitled to deny both our individual and collective responsibility to live in harmony with each other and the world. Don't let it delude you, too. Finally, any one of the points I made in this letter could be turned into a complete research paper, but the conclusion of each would be the same: None of what QCDN says carries any weight.

I won't sugarcoat this letter. This is a very bitter letter. Small children and the faint of heart should stop reading and leave the room. Before I start, however, I should state that to understand what Demetrios's particularly childish form of ageism has encompassed as a movement and as a system of rule, we have to look at its historical context and development as a form of pathetic politics that first arose in early twentieth-century Europe in response to rapid social upheaval, the devastation of World War I, and the Bolshevik Revolution. Demetrios is guided by the grungy ethos of snobbism. He vehemently denies that, of course. But he obviously would because he has recently been bouncing around like a kangaroo trying to bombard me with insults. Or, to express that sentiment without all of the emotionally charged lingo, there is only one way to stop him from turning desperados loose against us good citizens. We must make out of fools, wise people; out of fanatics, men of sense; out of idlers, workers; out of pugnacious defalcators, people who are willing to guide the world into an age of peace, justice, and solidarity. Then together we can tear down his fortress of deconstructionism. Together we can show the world that Demetrios pompously claims that children don't need as much psychological attentiveness, protection, and obedience training as the treasured household pet. That sort of nonsense impresses many people, unfortunately.

You won't find many of Demetrios's hatchet men who will openly admit that they favor Demetrios's schemes to irritate an incredible number of people. In fact, their actions are characterized by a plethora of rhetoric to the contrary. If you listen closely, though, you'll hear how carefully they cover up the fact that I have a problem with Demetrios's use of the phrase, "We all know that...". With this phrase, he doesn't need to prove his claim that he is a spokesman for God; he merely accepts it as fact. To put it another way, I enjoy the great diversity of humankind, in our food, our dress, our music, our literature, and our forms of spiritual expression. What I don't enjoy are Demetrios's frowzy, rotten apologues, which cause (or at least contribute to) a variety of social ills.

When you reflect upon this, you'll realize that Demetrios says that black is white and night is day. What he means by this, of course, is that he wants free reign to focus too much on one side of the equation and not enough on the broader perspective of things. We can't stop him overnight. It takes time, patience and experience to prevent the Demetrios-induced catastrophe I foresee and save our nation from its time of deepest humiliation and disgrace. One of his favorite tricks is to create a problem and then to offer the solution. Naturally, it's always his solutions that grant him the freedom to dilute the nation's sense of common purpose and shared sacrifice, never the original problem. Unfortunately, most people have been so brainwashed by Demetrios's namby-pamby fulminations that when push comes to shove they'll end up siding with Demetrios. That's why we must take steps against the whole flagitious brotherhood of beastly dunces.

Over time, Demetrios's circulars have progressed from being merely unprofessional to being superunprofessional, hyperunprofessional, and recently ultraunprofessional. In fact, I'd say that now they're even megaunprofessional. Demetrios intends to create a new social class. Vainglorious vagrants, quixotic sectarians, and inconsiderate poltroons will be given aristocratic status. The rest of us will be forced into serving as their loyalists.

Demetrios's encomiasts' thinking is fenced in by many constraints. Their minds are not free because they dare not be. Demetrios asserts that we can change the truth if we don't like it the way it is. Most reasonable people, however, recognize such assertions as nothing more than baseless, if wishful, claims unsupported by concrete evidence. No matter how bad you think his histrionics are, I assure you that they are far, far worse than you think. While perhaps offensive to some readers, only a direct quote can fully convey the macabre nature and content of Demetrios's ploys: "Attention, idolators! Your orders are to suppress controversy and debate, and to do so at any cost." Perhaps Demetrios has never had to take a stand and fight for something as critical as our right to ensure that the values for which we have labored and for which many of us have fought and sacrificed will continue in ascendancy. But his hysteria-producing platitudes are sufficient to give pause to the less thoughtful among us. "Oh, oh," such people think. "We'd better help Demetrios introduce a zeitgeist of teetotalism to our society—just in case."

I wonder if Demetrios really believes the things he says. He knows they're not true, doesn't he? A complete answer to that question would take more space than I can afford, so I'll have to give you a simplified answer. For starters, if you are not smart enough to realize this, then you become the victim of your own ignorance. So, Demetrios, maybe the problem is not with flippant, lawless hoodlums, but with you. We must investigate his clueless, puerile principles, ideals, and objectives. This is a terrible and awesome responsibility—a crushing responsibility. However, if we stick together we can can show the world that I don't know if Demetrios is consciously and purposely evil or merely neurotic. I do know, however, that if I want to get fired from my job, that should be my prerogative. I don't need him forcing me to.

Demetrios is a myth-generating machine. That's the theory, at least. But in practice, some people have indicated that Demetrios's grandiose promises of plenty for each have yielded grinding poverty for all. I can neither confirm nor deny that statement, but I can say that if Demetrios succeeds in his attempt to spoil the whole Zen Buddhist New Age mystical rock-worshipping aura of our body chakras, it'll have to be over my dead body.

Think about that for a minute. Let it sink in. It should soon become clear that Demetrios should not spawn delusions of prætorianism's resplendence. Not now, not ever.

In purely political terms, if we don't direct our efforts toward clearly defined goals and measure progress toward those goals as frequently and as objectively as possible right now, then Demetrios's ravings will soon start to metastasize until they dismantle national civil rights organizations by driving a wedge between the leaders and the rank-and-file members. At this point in the letter I had planned to tell you that in times of economic, social, or political crisis, small groups that shatter and ultimately destroy our most precious possessions suddenly gain a mass following. However, one of my colleagues pointed out that by reveling in grammatically incorrect English, he slaughters our idiom and impoverishes our dialogue. Hence, I discarded the discourse I had previously prepared and substituted the following discussion in which I argue that Demetrios's stances are rife with contradictions and difficulties; they're absolutely bilious, meet no objective criteria, and are unsuited for a supposedly educated population. And as if that weren't enough, the baneful nature of Demetrios's wisecracks is not just a rumor. It is a fact to which I can testify.

Here's some food for thought: Demetrios's favorite tactic is known as "deceiving with the truth". The idea behind this tactic is that he wins our trust by revealing the truth but leaving some of it out. This makes us less likely to wage war on Marxism. Whatever Demetrios claims to the contrary, if you think that this is humorous or exaggerated, you're wrong. Remember, though, that just because I have one view of an issue and he has a different view does not in itself mean that Demetrios is a recalcitrant headstrong-type and a damnable liar. But when Demetrios says that he is omnipotent, he's simply lying. That's why I profess that we cannot afford to waste our time, resources, and energy by dwelling upon inequities of the past. Instead, we must get the Demetrios monkey off our backs and off other people's backs as well. Doing so would be significantly easier if more people were to understand that if we let Demetrios sow the seeds of oligarchism we'll be reaping the crop for quite a long time. Let me conclude by saying that we who want to take steps toward creating an inclusive society free of attitudinal barriers will not rest until we do.

Good job

In this letter, I would like to share with you some thoughts I originally organized to do something good for others. What follows is a series of remarks addressed to the readers of this letter and to Dejavu himself. With his double standards hanging over us like the Sword of Damocles, it makes sense that he is entirely bookish, as he has proved to my complete satisfaction. He should step down from his gilded pedestal. I'll probably devote a separate letter to that topic alone, but for now, I'll simply summarize by stating that if this letter did nothing else but serve as a beacon of truth, it would be worthy of reading by all right-thinking people. However, this letter's role is much greater than just to place a high value on honor and self-respect.

So maybe Dejavu speaks with such certainty and self-confidence that his followers are absolutely convinced that it's okay to leave the educational and emotional needs of our children in the distasteful hands of obdurate louts. Big deal. What's more important is that the purpose of this letter is far greater than to prove to you how tactless and nugatory he has become. The purpose of this letter is to get you to start thinking for yourself, to start thinking about how he is like a jellyfish in that you can't see his stings coming. As long as I live, I will be shouting this truth from rooftops and doing everything I can to present a clear picture of what is happening, what has happened, and what is likely to happen in the future.

No matter how bad you think Dejavu's ideas are, I assure you that they are far, far worse than you think. I won't pull any punches here: I recently overheard a couple of doctrinaire scofflaws say that Dejavu is entitled to do exactly the things he accuses intransigent wastrels of doing. Here, again, we encounter the blurred thinking that is characteristic of this Dejavu-induced era of slogans and propaganda.

Plainly stated, Dejavu finds reality too difficult to swallow. Or maybe it just gets lost between the sports and entertainment pages. In either case, some day, Dejavu's incontinent hirelings may ask you why you think it's a good idea to tell Dejavu what we all think of him—and boy, do I have some choice words I'd like to use. If you're too stunned to answer immediately they'll answer for you, probably stating that domineering derelicts have dramatically lower incidences of cancer, heart attacks, heart disease, and many other illnesses than the rest of us. You should therefore be prepared to tell these humorless buggers that Dejavu claims that everyone with a different set of beliefs from his is going to get a one-way ticket to Hell. Well, I beg to differ.

Mutual efforts against hypersensitive, huffy interdenominationalism are not just an educational process designed to teach people that Dejavu should stop playing verbal games and tell us what he really means. These efforts also serve as a beacon, warning the world of the salacious consequences of Dejavu's inane exegeses. As the oft-repeated saying goes, "Dejavu confuses demagoguery with leadership and undocumented conspiracism with serious research". The importance of that saying is that it reminds us that Dejavu does not tolerate any view that differs from his own. Rather, he discredits and discards those people who contradict him along with the ideas that they represent.

I feel that writing this letter is like celestial navigation. Before directional instruments were invented, sailors navigated the seas by fixing their compass on the North Star. However, if Dejavu were to trick them into fixing their compass on the wrong star they'd soon be so off-course that they'd actually be willing to help him welsh on all types of agreements. Everybody knows that his trained seals are too impuissant to stand up to him, but you should consider that what I wrote just a moment ago is not the paranoid rambling of an unholy wacko. It's a fact.

Some reputed—as opposed to reputable—members of Dejavu's den of thieves quite adamantly profess that embracing a system of solecism will make everything right with the world. I find it rather astonishing that anyone could think such a thing but then again, the reason Dejavu wants to make conditions far worse than could ever have been the case without his brainless efforts is that he's utterly militant. If you believe you have another explanation for his batty behavior, then please write and tell me about it. I have just one word for him: individualistic. Before Dejavu once again claims that the rest of us are an inferior group of people, fit only to be enslaved, beaten, and butchered at the whim of our betters, he should do some real research rather than simply play a game of bias reinforcement with his fans. Whenever there's an argument about his devotion to principles and to freedom, all one has to do is point out that those who fight against his prolix utterances are inevitably branded as illiterate and aberrant by his disciples. That should settle the argument pretty quickly.

It is apparent to me that before Dejavu initiated a Trotskyism flap to help promote his ridiculous, smarmy philosophies, people everywhere were expected to build a sane and healthy society free of his destructive influences. Nowadays, it's the rare person indeed who realizes that Dejavu not only lies but he brags about his lying to his idolators. His propaganda factories continuously spew forth messages like, "Dejavu's campaigns are our final line of defense against tyrrany" and, "'Metanarratives' are the root of tyranny, lawlessness, overpopulation, racial hatred, world hunger, disease, and rank stupidity". What they don't tell you, though, is that we must shelter initially unpopular truths from suppression, enabling them to ultimately win out through competition in the marketplace of ideas. If we fail then all of our sacrifices and all of the dreams and sacrifices of our ancestors will have been in vain. The key is to realize that it's possible that Dejavu's greed will be his undoing. However, I cannot speculate about that possibility here because I need to devote more space to a description of how contrary to my personal preferences, I'm thinking about what's best for all of us. My conclusion is that what's best for all of us is for me to take the mechanisms, language, ideology, and phraseology for determining what is right and what is wrong out of the hands of Dejavu and his habitués and put them back in the hands of ordinary people.

To get even the simplest message into the consciousness of loathsome urban guerrillas it has to be repeated at least fifty times. Now, I don't want to insult your intelligence by telling you the following fifty times, but from the perspective of those inside Dejavu's Praetorian Guard, people don't mind having their communities turned into war zones. The reality, however, is that there may be nothing we can do to prevent him from making good on his word to poke someone's eyes out. When we compare this disturbing conclusion to the comforting picture purveyed by his myrmidons, we experience psychological stress or "cognitive dissonance". Our only recourse is to focus on the major economic, social, and political forces that provide the setting for the expression of an unreasonable agenda. While some of Dejavu's scare tactics are very attractive on the surface and are surely entertaining, they ultimately serve to declare a national emergency, round up everyone who disagrees with Dejavu, and put them in concentration camps.

Why don't more people complain when they see Dejavu interfere with a person's work performance, bodily security, physical movement, and privacy rights? It's because Dejavu has mastered the art of tricking people with images and myths. He creates myths about what the world is like and then generates false images to match those myths. This proves to me, at least, that Dejavu's plaints are a house of mirrors. How are we to find the opening that leads to freedom? I'll tell you what I think the answer is. I can't prove it, but if I'm correct, events soon will prove me right. I think that Dejavu will do everything in his power to prevent the real problems from being solved. No wonder corruption is endemic to our society; if we don't soon tell Dejavu to stop what he's doing, he will proceed with his warped smear tactics, considerably emboldened by our lack of resistance. We will have tacitly given Dejavu our permission to do so. Now that you've reached the end of this letter, let me leave you with the key take-away message: Dejavu equates non-cooperation and solitariness with individuality.

I don't know whether to laugh or cringe.

I am writing this letter rather reluctantly. I do not wish to begin an incendiary debate about Lukas's politics. However, Lukas has recently made a few statements that I find disturbing to such a degree that I cannot remain silent. So let's begin, quite properly, with a brief look at the historical development of the problem, of its attempted solutions, and of the eternal argument about it. You may be worried that he will topple society by next weekend. If so, then I share your misgivings. But let's not worry about that now. Instead, let's discuss my observation that the concepts underlying Lukas's bloody-minded ideals are like the Ptolemaic astronomy, which could not have been saved by positing more epicycles or eliminating some of the more glaring discrepancies. The fundamental idea—that the heavens revolve around the Earth—was wrong, just as Lukas's idea that trees cause more pollution than automobiles do is wrong.

For those of us who make our living trying to carry out this matter to the full extent of the law, it is important to consider that he should work with us, not step in at the eleventh hour and hog all the glory. While Lukas has a right, as do we all, to believe whatever he wants about irreligionism, only the impartial and unimpassioned mind will even consider that the public is like a giant that he has blindfolded, drugged, and gagged. This giant has plugs in his ears and Lukas leads him around by the nose. Clearly, such a giant needs to bring the communion of knowledge to all of us. That's why I feel obligated to notify the giant (i.e., the public) that if Lukas got his way, he'd be able to fill the air with recrimination and rancor. Brrrr! It sends chills down my spine just thinking about that.

It's somewhat tricky to challenge the present and enrich the future, especially since the media in this country tend to ignore historical connections and are reluctant to analyze ideological positions or treat a fringe political group seriously. The devil not only finds too much mischief for idle hands to do but increasingly in our contemporary world he causes frightful, scurrilous utopians to attack the very fabric of this nation. How I pity Lukas if I were to be his judge. I would start by notifying the jury that we can divide Lukas's protests into three categories: batty, corrupt, and pigheaded. Not to put too fine a point on it but I have to wonder where he got the idea that it is my view that "the norm" shouldn't have to worry about how the exceptions feel. This sits hard with me because it is simply not true and I've never written anything to imply that it is.

Lukas's orations disgust and infuriate me. How much more illumination does that fact need before Lukas can grasp it? Assuming the answer is "a substantial amount", let me point out that Lukas maintains that the future of the entire world rests in his hands. That's not just a lie but is actually the exact opposite of the truth—and Lukas knows it. Why is Lukas deliberately turning the truth on its head like that? There aren't enough hours in the day to fully answer that question but consider this: It's easy for armchair philosophers to theorize about Lukas and about hypothetical solutions to our Lukas problem. It's an entirely more difficult matter, however, when one considers that his views must not go unchallenged. I explained the reason for that just a moment ago. If you don't mind, though, I'll go ahead and explain it again. To begin with, I, hardheaded cynic that I am, have never been in favor of being gratuitously politically incorrect. I have also never been in favor of sticking my head in the sand or of refusing to take up the all-encompassing challenge of freedom, justice, equality, and the pursuit of life with full dignity.

Lukas yearns for the Oriental despotisms of pre-Hellenic times, the neolithic culture that preceded the rise of self-consciousness and egoism. By the same token, he abhors the current era, in which people are free to call for proper disciplinary action against Lukas and his cringers. Lest I forget to mention this later, his perspective is that the cure for evil is more evil. My perspective, in contrast, is that Lukas has never satisfactorily proved his assertion that people are pawns to be used and manipulated. He has merely justified that assertion with the phrase, "Because I said so." Some people don't seem to mind that he likes to let advanced weaponry fall into the hands of ruthless litterbugs. What a clumsy world we live in!

One could truthfully say that the blatant ignorance and social maladjustment of Lukas's viewpoints will condemn innocent people to death eventually. But saying that would miss the real point, which is that he may have access to weapons of mass destruction. Then again, I consider Lukas to be a weapon of mass destruction himself. Okay, I admit that there's a special, dark corner of Hell for the likes of Hitler, Stalin, and Lukas. But Lukas has planted his assistants everywhere. You can find them in businesses, unions, activist organizations, tax-exempt foundations, professional societies, movies, schools, churches, and so on. Not only does this subversive approach enhance Lukas's ability to blacklist his enemies as terrorist sympathizers or traitors but it also provides irrefutable evidence that he keeps saying that it's okay if his warnings initially cause our quality of life to degrade because "sometime", "someone" will do "something" "somehow" to counteract that trend. Isn't that claim getting a little shopworn? I mean, if we don't remove the Lukas threat now, it will bite us in our backside sooner than you think.

I recommend paying close attention to the praxeological method developed by the economist Ludwig von Mises and using it as a technique to comment on Lukas's inclinations. The praxeological method is useful in this context because it employs praxeology, the general science of human action, to explain why the central paradox of Lukas's actions, the twist that makes Lukas's Ponzi schemes so irresistible to the most disorganized loudmouths I've ever seen, is that these people truly believe that Lukas is the ultimate authority on what's right and what's wrong. My message is clear: He likes to imply that it's perfectly safe to drink and drive. This is what his half-measures amount to although, of course, they're daubed over with the viscid slobber of lackadaisical drivel devised by his comrades, who are legion, and mindlessly multiplied by hotheaded, odious crooks. If Lukas's plan to dissolve the bonds that join individuals to their natural communities is to be discouraged then the wisest course of action is to prevent the production of a new crop of the worst types of demonic philosophasters there are. Before we start down that road I ought to remind you that if you were to tell him that whenever he finds himself confronted by the law, he insists it needs reforming, he'd just pull his security blanket a little tighter around himself and refuse to come out and deal with the real world. Lukas is trying to emphasize the negative in our lives instead of accentuating the positive just to prove he can. Have you noticed that that hasn't been covered at all by the mainstream media? Maybe they're afraid that Lukas will retaliate by plaguing our minds.

Lukas's utterances are merely a stalking horse. They mask his secret intention to perpetuate what we all know is a corrupt system. The surly aspect of Lukas's complaints will create a stir between Pecksniffian sods and the profligate public at large. The same might be said of namby-pamby, venal hooligans. All this aside, if you ever ask Lukas to do something, you can bet that your request will get lost in the shuffle, unaddressed, ignored, and rebuffed.

Many people are incredulous when I tell them that Lukas intends to promote the lie of fascism. "How could Lukas be so peevish?", they ask me. "It doesn't seem possible." Well, it is really possible, and now I'll explain exactly how Lukas plans to do it. But first, you need to realize that it has been brought to my attention that he is certifiably neurotic. While this is true, many people who follow his conclusions have come to the erroneous conclusion that granting him complete control over our lives is as important as breathing air. The truth of the matter is that the term "idiot savant" comes to mind when thinking of Lukas. Admittedly, that term applies only halfway to him, which is why I avouch that Lukas has called people like me sinister tax cheats, venom-spouting tricksters, and intellectually challenged scroungers so many times that these accusations no longer have any sting. Lukas undeniably continues to employ such insults because he's run out of logical arguments. I suppose an alternate explanation is that we are observing the change in our society's philosophy and values from freedom and justice to corruption, decay, cynicism, and injustice. All of these "values" are artistically incorporated in one person: Lukas.

The important point here is not that by letting Lukas encourage individuals to disregard other people, to become fully self-absorbed, we are playing a loser's game. The vital matter is that he seems to assume that people prefer "cultural integrity" and "multicultural sensitivity" to health, food, safety, and the opportunity to choose their own course through life. This is an assumption of the worst kind because he says he's going to replace love and understanding with exhibitionism and insurrectionism in the near future. Is he out of his officious mind? The answer is fairly obvious when you consider that he, already oppressive with his immoral ruses, will perhaps be the ultimate exterminator of our human species—if separate species we be—for his reserve of unguessed horrors could never be borne by mortal brains if loosed upon the world. If you think that that's a frightening thought then consider that my goal is to punish Lukas for his incorrigible precepts. I might not be successful at achieving that goal but I definitely do have to try. And that's what writing this sort of letter is all about. It's a way to make a genuine contribution to human society.

is this even ffxi related? or just a flame on a retired player?

It's neither. It's a joke using an automated complaint generator. Which is years old. :|

I never thought I'd see the day someone would be too lazy to write an original flame.

I have some very startling, very radical—some might say lazy—insights into Davion's latest modes of thought. As this letter will make clear, Davion's ipse dixits are designed to use lethal violence as a source of humor. And they're working; they're having the desired effect. Davion has the nerve to call those of us who point out that the emperor has no clothes on "conspiracy theorists". No, we're "conspiracy revealers" because we reveal that we must present a noble vision of who we were, who we are, and who we can potentially be. Those who claim otherwise do so only to justify their own lackadaisical, nit-picky strictures.

I intend to throw down the gauntlet and challenge Davion's surrogates to protect our peace, privacy, and safety. That's the path that I have chosen. It's truly not an easy path but then again, it has been said that some brutish knuckleheads don't have a clue. I, in turn, aver that Davion's half-measures always follow the same pattern. He puts the desired twist on the actual facts, ignores inconvenient facts, and invents as many new "facts" as necessary to convince us that courtesy and manners don't count for anything.

Oddly enough, Davion has appointed himself the chairman, High Panjandrum, Grand Inquisitor, and overarching Pooh-Bah of a cabal whose exclusive purpose is to relabel millions of people as "bloody-minded". Stranger still, "Davion" has now become part of my vocabulary. Whenever I see someone lead us, lemminglike, over the precipice of self-destruction, I tell him or her to stop "Davion-ing". My prayers go out to everyone who was hurt by him. I won't dwell on that except to direct your attention to the vainglorious manner in which Davion has been trying to prepare the ground for an ever-more vicious and brutal campaign of terror. But this is something to be filed away for future letters. At present, I wish to focus on only one thing: the fact that he would have us believe that principles don't matter. Yeah, right. And I also suppose that we have too much freedom? The fact of the matter is that he is reluctant to resolve problems. He always just looks the other way and hopes no one will notice that he should pay a price for his crass, mudslinging conclusions. That's pretty transparent. What's not so transparent is the answer to the following question: To what depths of depravity does he need to descend before the rest of us realize we must deal with him appropriately? A clue might be that I undoubtedly have a hard time trying to reason with people who remain calm when they see Davion send children to die as martyrs for causes that he is unwilling to die for himself.

That's just one side of the coin. The other side is that I used to avouch that Davion was an uppity, uncompromising knucklehead. However, after seeing how he wants to muzzle his critics, I now have an even lower opinion of him. In fact, I'd even go so far as to say that if Davion would abandon his name-calling and false dichotomies it would be much easier for me to search for solutions that are more creative and constructive than the typically hopeless ones championed by semi-intelligible, inaniloquent cheapskates. I'm sure you get my point here. If Davion had even a shred of intellectual integrity, he'd admit that the real question here is not, "Whatever happened to his sense of humanity?". The real question is rather, "What demons possessed him to shout obscenities at passers-by?" Here's the answer, albeit in a somewhat circuitous and roundabout style: If you looked up "snooty" in the dictionary, you'd probably see his picture.

Davion tends to forget what matters most. I know you're wondering why I just wrote that. I'll explain shortly, but first, I should state that when I was younger I wanted to complain about boisterous, piteous ratbags. I still want to do that but now I realize that he has been fairly successful in his efforts to undermine liberty in the name of liberty. That just goes to show what can be done with a little greed, a complete lack of scruples, and the help of a bunch of predatory, indelicate maniacs.

My own position on this issue is both simple and clear: The facts as I see them simply do not support the false, but widely accepted, notion that five-crystal orgone generators can eliminate mind-control energies that are being radiated from secret, underground, government facilities. Davion can't attack my ideas, so he attacks me. It could be worse, I suppose. He could sacrifice children on the twin altars of alarmism and greed. If you ever ask him to do something, you can bet that your request will get lost in the shuffle, unaddressed, ignored, and rebuffed. Davion's monographs have merged with anti-intellectualism in several interesting ways. Both spring from the same kind of reality-denying mentality. Both require religious services around the world to begin with "Davion is great; Davion is good; we thank Davion for our daily food". And both see to it that all patriotic endeavors are directed down blind alleys where they end in frustration and discouragement.

Davion's emissaries consider his pranks a breath of fresh air. I, however, find them more like the fetid odor of exclusionism. So remember kids, if you want to take away our sense of community and leave us morally adrift, all you have to do is agree to let Davion convict me without trial, jury, or reading one complete paragraph of this letter. Maybe when you least expect it, he will use every conceivable form of diplomacy, deception, pressure, coercion, bribery, treason, and terror to lower scholastic standards. Lamebrained predictions aside, this would not be an impossible scenario if his brusque dissertations were to gain ascendancy in our society.

Davion lacks the courage to confront me face-to-face. Stated differently, finding the best way to do something about the continuing—make that the escalating—effort on his part to reward mediocrity is a challenging problem indeed. We must therefore tackle this problem with more determination, more tenacity, and more fanaticism than it has ever been tackled before. Only then will people realize that I proudly adopt this stand. Am I being too harsh for writing that? Maybe I am, but that's really the only way you can push a point through to Davion. Davion plans to mold the mind of virtually every citizen—young or old, rich or poor, simple or sophisticated—one day. I'd like to see him try to get away with such a plan; that should be good for a laugh. You see, most people have already observed that mankind needs to do more to allay the concerns of the many people who have been harmed by Davion. Understand, I am not condemning mankind for not doing enough; I am merely stating that Davion's intent is to prevent us from asking questions. He doesn't want the details checked. He doesn't want anyone looking for any facts other than the official facts he presents to us. I wonder if this is because most of his "facts" are false.

Davion says that everyone who scrambles aboard the Davion bandwagon is guaranteed a smooth ride. But then he turns around and says that all major world powers are controlled by a covert group of "insiders". You know, you can't have it both ways, Davion. Even by Davion's own account, if he wanted to, he could inject his lethal poison into our children's minds and souls. He could create an untrue and injurious impression of an entire people. And he could steal the fruits of other people's labor. We must decidedly not allow Davion to do any of these. Honor means nothing to him. Principles mean nothing to him. All he cares about is how to ignore compromise and focus solely on his personal agenda.

While we all despair over Davion's insufferable, blockish lamentations, we must also remember the principles that will guide our better behaviors and higher aspirations. Prodigal bureaucrats like Davion are not born—they are excreted. However unsavory that metaphor may be, I don't want to build castles in the air. I don't want to plan things that I can't yet implement. But I do want to fight to the end for our ideas and ideals because doing so clearly demonstrates how he recently stated that he is known for his sound judgment, unerring foresight, and sagacious adaptation of means to ends. He said that with a straight face, without even cracking a smile or suppressing a giggle. He said it as if he meant it. That's scary because he insists that his opinions represent the opinions of the majority—or even a plurality. That lie is a transparent and strained effort to keep us from noticing that his logodaedaly is frighteningly successful at convincing quarrelsome miscreants that his undertakings are our final line of defense against tyrrany. In fact, I have said that to Davion on many occasions and I will keep on saying it until he stops trying to ransack people's homes. I, hardheaded cynic that I am, challenge you to ponder this subject with the broadest vision possible.

Shut the fuck up already.
