i have a few Questions to ask you and hope you give me the best Answer that you could possiable give me....

1.How do you think Qcdn is going to turn out with the flameboard being shut down?

2.Are you worried that people will leave site and the ratings will drop?

3.Why did you take away the heart&soul of Qcdn?

4.do you think this is a wize choice? please come here to fight out there beef with others and hope they will become a better played in game?

5.Do you think later on down the road you will open the flameboard back up?

That is all for now, but i would really like for you to answer these Questions for me..

1. Dunno what he thinks, but I do believe he intends to find out.
2. He's already considered this, and obviously isn't worried
3. The fact that anyone could call it the "heart and soul" is reason enough to shut it down, or at the very least change how it works.
4. Asking too soon after the FB's been closed to ask
5. The version that currently existed, no.

Yeah, but if you were to vent about osmeone/something no one's ever heard of, it holds less meaning/would get less sympathy/feedback. No one from Titan is gonna care if someone on Quetz scammed you or MPKed. And really, asides Alla, this is one of very few single-server forums I've ever come across, so it is sortof unique =/

isn't there allakhazam and KI for cheering about how you beat rank 3 dragon or something? what's exactly is the point here? yes, there are places you can do different things at.

BBT, here's my answer, to the best I can tell at this time:

1. I believe it will take a bit for things to settle down. After that I expect the number of posts per day to go way down from the current about 1,000 posts per day. I expect the quality of the posts to go up, so that whatever posts are made are actually worth reading. All in all I believe that the overall effect the removal of the FB will be positive to QCDN as a whole and for those who remain with the site.
2. I am certain that some will leave on their own, that I will ban a good number of users, and that it will reduce the currently active user count by a couple hundred or so, give or take a few dozen. I started this board from zero, there was no one but me. Then others joined for whatever their reasons were. Just as it happened then, others who will embrace the new rules will join and replace those who will leave. No, I am not worried.
3. Heart & Soul is relative. Other than that, there are numerous topics on the subject, refer to them.
4. If I didn't think it were a good choice, then I wouldn't have made it. Removing the FB is on an entirely different decision making level than to just install the "thank-you" mod to see how it turns out. Removing the FB has been considered with due diligence, and the decision has not been made lightly. I don't really know how people could assume otherwise. It's not like I woke up one day and asked myself "Hmm, what could I possibly do to QCDN to get some people up in arms and increase my workload like 10 fold?".
5. No, the FB will be deleted, there is no recourse. There are a few people who have expressed interest to save quality content, and I will give them the opportunity to do so, but the FB will not be back, not in the form you know it, and not in any other form. In fact, I can already tell that the NW isn't working out too well and I will amend the rules that govern it sometime soon.

Probably not the type of answers people were hoping for, but this is what it is.

I think those responses are fair and agree to this new change. If you really want to rant and flame a certain person ingame, then just go ahead and do so on your LS. I mean no one is perfect of course and we all would like to tell everyone to avoid certain people in game or such, but later on in the future, does it really matter much?

People can change from mistakes or just change overtime from bad ways. After a while it's not really fun or useful like all the other topics in this forum.
