My name is Mishaela, friends call me Krystal.

Recently, I've noticed a pattern in drop rates for me..rather, I've not been getting anything at all! 0/42 Deggi, still the ol' 0/3 Argus, 0/3 Ocean, 0/19 Morion, 0/2 Phantom. Hell, I've even ran 0/38 on any Dynamis drops at all, save a whopping 14 1-coins and some Infinity Cores. Also <3 the two dozen Executioner Antlions that popped on my run, when every other run didn't have more than 5 pop.

Irritated as I was, I kept trying to get some good drops, or some EX drop I've been trying to get for quite some time, but to no avail. I didn't mind too much, I just thought, y'know, the harder I work for it the more it'll be worth it when I get it. And I'll be able to laugh when I have this stuff, despite the asses who only show up on runs where they can get Relic and "magically can't make it" to the other town runs, and I can laugh at the guys who think them going 3/7 on Deggi then 0/10 after 3rd drop is "bad luck".

But no, SE, you hadto be even more shitfaced than I thought you could ever be. "A square of Shining Cloth was lost." Really SE, I hope some of your programmers are totally getting off to this "coincidental bad luck" that I seem to be plagued with. Because it's shit like this that just draws in more costumers like flies (/sarcasm). Well y'know what, fuck your stupid little game and it's "coincidental bad luck" that's popped up well over 100 times in a row.

Hey man, I can dig it.

I went from being 7/9 on Ashmaker Gotblut (Gotbutt?) to 7/30, from January 1st till about April 22nd earlier last year. Since then, i've not gotten a single good drop on any NM i've camped. And i've camped plenty. Sure, theyre the sucky weak ones that someone of my (WHM) calibur can actually kill, but even with /thf and TH1, I still get no improvements.

It's totally uncool.

There should be a petition we could sign somewhere.

As for the hole in the groin and shattering glasses thing..Well.

Amazing things can happen when you get kicked in the nuts.

Meh... again. When you think about FFXI's system they established it and you obviously know there is a failure rate no matter what level you are when you go to craft. The system just rolls a die, and you see the results on screen as either a loss or a win. That goes for the combat system and everything else about the game... it's all an old fashoined dice based RPG game with automatically handled rules and DM'ing and whatnot. You take a risk in a game with every dice roll and neither the game master, or SE in this case take any liability for what happens, nor the developers who create the system.

If you want to take the risk, be ready to lose to the system. Or I guess in the case of your long history of misfortune, if you want to play the game, prepare to lose to the game a lot! Unless there's some guaranteed formula someone's finally figured out, if you don't know it, you're still just rolling dice IMO. I did it a lot, and got rich... I got lucky =P... I also squandered a huge chunk of savings like you and ended up losing it all. Ever hear about how if you go gambling at a casino you're more than likely to come out with at least 1/3 of the money you spend gone, or more. The gambling bug goes with crafting in this game too, you get lucky once, then think you'll get lucky again and end up losing more than you had to start out with.

Guilty as charged here. But yeah. Go play WoW and you won't have to deal with it ^o^

Really though...I know it was all chance and stuff, been unmerciful crap is seeing the same bad junk happening gotten old. Guess I'll hafto parade in Blessed+AF some more, and I can direct anyone who calls me gimp to this thread, yeh? =P

The foot was between his legs and then rose upwards, as evidenced by the swoosh lines going up.
