This kick is easily performed when you lower your center of gravity a bit... My friends and I coined the term "Bag-Tag" for such a kick.

Back in the days before I saw the swoosh lines, yes. It appeared to me that she stomped on his ass cheeks with a scary level of violence, causing several megatons of pressure to channel through his hips and focus on the front of his body. Namely, the gonads.

Several megatons of pressure + gonads = thousand years of pain

There's a reason some items have such a difficult roll to win against. Thief's Knife = perfect example. New JSE belts = perfect examples.

Most of the time, if it's a difficult item to obtain, it's for a good reason. Ish has some pretty shitty luck, but she's not alone... who was it on our server that's gone 1/120 on Jaggedy-Eared Jack? Phraust?

I understand that the drop rates on certain mobs is less than stellar, but it's just...pretty crappy to see such a low drop when someone else has gotten 3 drops within 7 kills on that same NM (you know who you are =P)

Personally already over the loss of this..but this high-bar SE seems to have set for virtually everything in this game is rediculous. And the crafting system...how can stuff just vanish into thin air? It's not like failing a synth results in your crystal spewing sulfuric acid all over your items so they poof. At the very least we should wind up with a LQ version of the item (kindof like what they have in D2)

Oh well..

Oh crap, now I hafto double-post.
Of the things I listed, all but about 12 Deggi kills and 2 Argus kills (and all the Worm kills...whoops ;-; ) had a 60+ THF with me. I carry a 4Leaf, and a Lucky Egg.
 
I don't think the lucky egg does anything unless you eat it. Just my thoughts.

SE doesn't actually want every WHM 68+ to have a Noble's Tunic, or every NIN and THF and MNK to have a Scorpion Harness. It's remarkable that we're able to generate so many of them as-is.

The stuff doesn't vanish, by the way. Crafting in FFXI is animated as a magical instantaneous process, but I'd hazard that, say you were using an Earth crystal - the process is probably something like all the materials are trapped in the crystal's energy, being bonded in strange and unsightly ways, while you picture the result in your head (hey, that's FFXI's crafting theory for you - several NPCs say it). Item loss probably occurs when, for example, with an Earth synth, one or more of your items ends up fused with something it wasn't supposed to be fused with. Alternately, if you're using a Wind crystal, the item(s) being carved might end up in some kind of mangled freakish design.

And, heaven forbid your character think about sex during synthesis...
 
I understand how Synthesis is SUPPOSED to work. But is it all supposed to vanish or something when the crystal breaks? Cause if anything, you should be able to screw up and receive like...two shining threads or something because the cloth got mutilated. Or you go cooking a Royal Omelette, screw up and make a food item called "God's Mistake" that gives a +10str -10vit effect with -3hp/tic.

Or something. Bleh..
