Panda-babe, I had the same trouble around your level, though mine was from lack of people wanting to leave Boyada Tree or go somewhere besides Labyrinth of Onzozo. Tons of parties, generally grand total xp 150 (hour of xp, then wipe and reraise) each. Don't feel too discouraged about the silly server. People don't treat you like much right now (fuggin WHM hatas), but wait a few levels 'til R3. Then suddenly you go from being a plague to being a god. Fuck those people who treated you like shit before, after that (but be just as nice to strangers and friends, I love R3'ing a random deader when they're about to eat a R1)

Anyway, have faith that once the events are over, SE will fuck up about 70% less.

WHAT I CANT HANDLE is when my party is FREAKING AWESOME and people KNOW what they're doing, and we are bringing in about 4k an hour, and everyone is supportive of everyone else, and everything is going great...

You gotta remember servers experience problems and errors happen, or power outages, or even just plain old system failures. What if everytime you spilled water on the floor 10 billion people were viciously cursing your name publicly, all because you made a mistake? If you've ever worked customer service (cue foreboding music), you learn that everyone complains about -EVERYTHING-, and I mean EVERYTHING. It's to the point that customers are looked upon with contempt by everyone in a store, it's true, people in business HATE CUSTOMERS, but they NEED CUSTOMERS to MAKE MONEY.

Well gripes like that kinda validate having no respect for the customers but that's just my opinion. Square does not care if you quit their game, they will earn $13+'ish less dollars a month, out of a clear million or so? Oh noez.

Imagine being the developer of a game, reading through a forum of suggestions on how to make it better, or for feedback and seeing things like "FUCK U ASSHOLES THIS GAME SUKS" "I WANT THIS I WANT THAT WAH WAH WAH"... a lot of work goes into making a game, and FFXI was in fact, very stable compared to many MMO's i've played, and very solid of a game, but all games have flaws. And the rare occasion in which say, the server went down or some kinda error popped up all you see is bitching and whining, etc... it's so annoying to see so many people griping about the stupidest things and threatening no one to quit, like they'll care or go warn SE that "OH SHIT PANDA IS QUITTING YOU BETTER GET YER ACT IN GEAR!!!!!!!$!@$!"

Any idiot will get to 75 now without even

this flame was more of a flame directed at the players of the game and how shitty my partys have been than a flame at SE. A lot of it was meant to be sarcastic (like the "i can deal with it" parts). Its not like I don't expect this shit to happen, its just that it happened at a bad time to me in the middle of a streak of really bad luck while xp partying.

I'm not that arrogant to think that this is actually supposed to be taken seriously, nor am I actually going to quit because a server went down and they have problems. Honestly dude, I'm not ignorant to the fact that shit happens, and everything that you mentioned in your post.

I didn't think that I would actually need to clarify this, but this was supposed to be humorous touched with the actual frustrations of everything that has been going wrong in this game for me and my parties, and disconnecting, in such a short period of time considering this is the first week that I actually played almost every day in about three months. This shit isn't just about the server crash, but whatever. I think most people got my point.

I was like 63 or something when they cut the exp.

Fuck you, I'm not an idiot and I know how to play my job. Just because you got to 75 before the exp cut doesn't make you better than me or anything, or gives you a right to have a "Holier than thou" attitude, it just means you spent more time doing what most of the people who play this game's goal are. It's not like I wanted an exp cut, or could go back in time and level to 75 before the cut. So shove your arrogance up your ass and piss off. I hate people like you.
