Death Due to Full Inventory

I'm sure this has happened to a few of you before but I just think it's funny so I'll tell the story.

I was lvling w/a friend in the Highlands, I got poisioned by one of the gobbys that we were fighting and my HP were really low...My friend didn't have his main or sub as whm so he decided to trade me a high potion, My inventory was full so it rejected so I scrambled to drop some useless item so I managed to drop an item and we traded but it was too late right when I went to use it potion I died...lol Has this ever happened to you...lol
 
Something nearly similar happened to me while fighting Maat. Inventory full of armor for 2 jobs since mog & mules mog all full. Inventory also full w/Hi-Pots, Hi-Ether, Icarus Wing, Sleep Potions, etc. Maat was being a cheap bastard & didn't keep a set delay between his attacks & waiting to hit when I was casting a heal or using a Hi-Pot. I was casting Cure III, very low on health, he smacked me damn hard, I tried to use a Hi-Pot, he smacks again (this was not a double attack like warriors get, it had a small but longer delay between hits). I had been scrambling for Hi-Pot in the 1st place after Cure III got interrupted, however it didn't really make a difference, he felt like being a jerk & being cheap & he was.

Try to start casting/using half a second before his last hit of the attack round hits. The hit won't interrupt your spell horribly and you could probably get the spell/item off before his next attack, because of the lag between using and being struck. But this is from an ordinary mob or something, I don't know Maat's attack speed, so forgive me. :/

He always attack as a MNK :P
 
I was flying solo Mining in Yughott Grotto, when I stumbled accross Ashmaker, Fought him, and the Robe dropped, which at the time was worth a considerable amount. I laughed to a buddy of mine about how I barely lived and am going to die from poison... Then I realized I "Found a priest's robe on Ashmaker Gotblut." However, I had not seen the "Phraust obtains a priest's robe." and noticed the little treasure chest above my name as I "fall to the ground"...
 
One time I was purchasing something from an NPC and it said "Transaction cancelled because your inventory is full" or something like that.
