Death of a BLM?

Guys, I was just wondering, to those of you who know me I was just stopping by to say BLM takes up too much of my time. Stuff is way too expensive and my AF sucks! To anyone who knows me, do you think I should quit BLM? I have already sent all my BLM stuff to my mule and have spent 170k on my lvl 15THF (New main). Anyone think I should retire my 55BLM to go on as my newfound love?

p.s. I'm also tired of the D2 requests. I get them even when I am /anon!!!
 
Do what you think is right and don't listen to anyone else.

In the end the choice that you will go with will be the one that your heart tells you.
 
I'd say possibly put blm down for the time being and try a different road. Have fun exploring the world with different jobs and get to know every aspect of party/solo play. make the game fun.
 
blm is too expensive? i spent less on blm to 74 than i did on thf to 53 the only major expense is ele torque which is less than two snipers which ull need for thf. but if u like being a thf go with it.
 
Thief is a lot of fun, but I wouldnt give up playing Black Mage. I'm currently stopping leveling on my thief and crafting as well as making money for my black mage gear and spells. Once my Black Mage gets in the 45-50 range I'm switching back to thief until G2 and then just back and forth etc.

Thief is not a cheap job if you want to play really well. The macro in gear alone by the time I'm level 48 is going to be around 1.1 mil. (Snipers and Life Belt). But yes money is easier to come by being a thf......but not all of us are rich thats for damn sure (i have about 14k on me lol).

I'd go nuts if I stuck to one job!

(Although I'd probably be level 75 a few times by now lol)
 
Level whatever makes you happy. However, if you think another job is going to be cheaper or AF is more useful, you're going to be in for a culture shock.
 
Yeah, I am only selling my Ele Staves and keeping the rest of my stuff on a mule. I will keep Ice and Dark staves so I can get right back in the BLM game. But yeah, I wub pulling! Nothing better than holding the parties xp in your hands.
