10 min is way too long in my book, I wait 1 maybe 2 min for reply, so many seeking nowadays, you don't need to wait 10 min per person you invite, or it would take hours just to form the party.

That is totally reasonable, except, how the hell should Gannon know if he got the invite 2 seconds before he got back or 5 minutes before he got back. I don't think it should come down to cursing (especially since it's not child's fault Gannon was AFK), but I think one should respond within a minute or so, rather than ignore them. It kinda falls back to that good old saying "Two wrongs do not make a right". If child himself was AFK, then just say so and I'm sure this whole thing would have been avoided.
 
btw my work comps like to edit certain things, so if you don't see it as it was intended, child should be DC. Sorry about that. =/
 
So I was lvl 68 MNK looking for PT for like the whole day and late at nite I get an invite, or should I say a /tell saying [Hello!], I reply [Hello!], I do a /sea on her, name's Hillie I think, lvl 70 SMN at that moment I think, 10 min pass, then she sends another /tell "Do you want to join exp PT" I reply "Yes", she asks "Do you have sky access" I say "yes I do", few min later no reply, I do /sea she's already exping in sky -.-. WHAT EVER, lol.

I would also like to add my own note that, these things happen. It happens to me all the time, I have had seeked for seven hours without an invite at which point I finally received one but I had gone to the fridge for food. I had come back after making myself a sandwitch and saw an inviting tell. When I responded, I got no reply then minutes later after I had finshed my tasty sandwitch, I received a "sorry, too late". I seriously needed experience points too being in the 70s range. I was a little annoyed but I couldn't really blame the leader for not waiting, if I was in his position, I would have probably done the same.

Deathchild is a great person too. I don't agree with this flame but then again, who ever gives a damn about opinions online, in my opinion. Hah!

Everyone says Deathchild is a good guy, I'm not doubting he is. I don't know the guy and quite frankly I would not care too.
 
Well. I once got invited (by a japanese) to a party . I DIDN'T go AFK... he asked me when I was in the airship to Kazham. I said yes and reassured that we were going to meet in Kazham(I confirmed 2 times to let him know I wasn't afk and to make sure he wouldn't forget about me lol) and he answered{yes, please.} I put my flag down because I knew I had a party...When I arrived, I told him I would wait for him. No response. 10 minutes later... he arrives and tells me: Sorry JP onry.
