So ok heres how the story goes...dont worry it has a really happy ending.
I spend 2 hours killing Gration Solo on my redmage via kiting it up and down the river with DoTs. Needless to say it went unclaimed every now and again as I run like hell to avoid thundaga 3. So, its on 2% and this drg is watching me kill it, as I run outta Thundaga 3 range it goes unclaimed so he angons it and goes in for the pentathrust. This douche's name is Deathsreturn btw. I say "hey come on don't be a fuck" and get no response only to watch him ws my hard earned NM for what I thought was the kill....WRONG! He can't kill it with one weaponskill and it instajibs him with 1 Grand Slam at 1%. I happy take my NM back and nuke it for the win. Only 18k though, no shield.

Like any good fable though, this has a moral, don't be a fuck and steal other peoples NMs. Really. This means you Deathsreturn. Fuck you :)

Btw if you want a SS please tell me how to take one with text as I am currently clueless.

Some dude tried to steal novv. I was pulling it to a safe spot near norg. He ended up dieing and I continued fighting :). Don't be a fool and attempt to steal a nm if you can't even kill it.

Nice. It's the best thing that could've happened to a pussy chicken-shit who doesn't mind taking somebody's NM. Especially something that can be popped for god sake.

That's only when going for claim on something that hasn't been claimed. It's SE's fault for having a shitty hate system. OP should have had hate if Gravity was still on.

Im glad this ended the way it did, but what puzzles me is why. Death's gear was incredible, he belonged to one of the most respected shells on the server (flock). What would prompt him to stick his head so far us his ass to steal something like that. Has he done this in the past...other than your bike of course.

With all the crap BST has had to deal with about mobs going unclaimed, I'm surprised a member of the Flock would do something like that. /sadface

It used to be the practice of many endgamers to take NMs that go yellow, but back in the day there were alot of instances that an NM going yellow meant that they weren't doing too good of a job with it (happenned alot at Ullikummi)

But since then the new hate system that was implemented can create situations where you can be doing everything right and still lose hate, i think this is an example of one of those times.
 
Theres a line of respect here though.. If someone is soloing something and they loose claim there is no reason to steal it. however the if its yellow claim that fellow applies to a group that is in the process of wiping to an Nm. The reason being is that they are probably going to wipe to it neways so may as well save a few of them and if its something that you are watching them kill there is probably someone else watching them kill it too.

Back when i still did sky we never stole despot from the flock because its understood that they are going to loose claim from time to time and its not outta control. We also watched a rdm from a Jp LS solo faust although that didnt go yellow the entire fight.

Now on the flip side of this back before the ulli "fix" when an ls had a few people die and ulli went yellow there is no question we would take it every time because they were out of control.

Also you should never steal something that is force popped... unless its a full wipe.
