Ok I have to admit. When the xbox 360 first shipped, I hated it with a passion. I always thought that Sony/Nintendo should dominate with console games and they should rule the next gen. Well....

IMO the PS3 isnt worth it right "now". Maybe in the future, but the 700 to 800 dollar tag is just alot to start with. Hopefully a price drop in the future, and some time for there library to get bigger and better.


Which leads me to the xbox 360. There line up this year is INSANE. I know a few will be platformer games but still. Nothing I see on the PS3 is close to some of the stuff I see coming to the xbox.

1. Mass Effect
2. Blue Dragon
3. Too Human (been waiting for years, even when this game was supposed to be for the N64 LOL)
4. Fable 2 (though I didnt like the first one)
5. Halo 3
6. BioShock
7. Eternal Sonata
8. Last Remnant
9. Lost Odyssey
10. Possible Final Fantasy's
11. Overlord
12. Naruto: Rise of the Ninja (can't believe I said that)


Of course it already has Gears of War, and C&C 3.


Im getting one this weekend. Anybody recommend anything?
 
FFXI, its a handy back up.

Xbox live Arcade has a few good games. Castlevania:SOTN, Alien Hominoid, and Double Dragon are great.
 
haha you posted the thread before I got a chance to ;p I just picked mine up not two hours ago. Got Gears of War.. don't forget Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 Advanced Warfighter game that just came out, I've played a demo it's def. better imo than call of duty3 (not bashing CoD, that game's pretty sweet too).
Still expensive system though..
It's freakin almost as expensive as a PS3. Xbox just has a better game lineup that I can see in the not-too-distant future than Sony and Halo 3 ('nuff said).
 
GRAW2 is possibly the best looking game multiplayer online to date on a console, it is honestly incredible. i recomend GRAW2 for sure if you want to play online. C&C is what i am attacking atm its fun as hell to me.
 
Rainbow Six is a fun one too if you have friends that have it an play. I think dead or alive is a fun game too, only fighting game ive ever played and liked. Crackdown is pretty fun too and if you get it this weekend online you might be able to get an H3 beta copy, idk if they still selling em since they stopped making em awhile ago. Also no GTA4 or Army of two on your list? There pretty big games too.
 
Yeah I forgot about Army of Two. I hope Final Fantasy titles port over as well.

Well SE said they might not stay sony exclusive for Final Fantasy. We'll see.

Isnt the 360 gonna get Resident Evil and Devil May Cry now?

DMC producer, Hiroshi Kobayashi, recently told Japanese magazine, Famitsu, that he expects Dante to make a next-gen debut on the Xbox 360 and Wii and not the PS3. Kobayashi also said that there will be changes in the games such as the fighting system and making the difficulty suitable for all players."
