And IF this happened the way the initial poster says it happened then Dell not only made himself look bad, but he also made his linkshell look bad. And a very presigious one at that. Now, we all know here at QCDN what kind of people are in the NAF ls, but the people in that alliance don't. Hence, an incident like this "could" give NAF a bad name. last time I was in laberynth of onzonzo Ose popped and a PT beside us pulled it and died and he was at 1/4 health so we claimed him and killed him.. would that be any diffrent than what dell did?

I don't care about chitter-chatter...It means nothing, but when I see the above bolded text, I have to step in and at least point out how false this is.

Delli's actions are his own. We are talking with him. We will come to a sensible and fair solution. It's a sticky situation, but one thing should be perfectly clear after this...

That is, NAFB and NA players in general are not given a huge black eye because of this. We are doing what we can to rectify this.

It's FAR from a 100% drop, let alone a 50% drop, infact it sucks pretty bad!

As far as what Dell did. I have mixed feelings about Him.Her to begin with. Helped me once, and had the gall to ask 1 mil gil for a Eye cluster. And to boot, I'm sorry to say, he/she is not JUST now getting a bad Rep. He/She has had a bad Rep from many people I know and although not as bad as PartyGirl, the name falls in the same catagory with almost every person I've talked to. Without brinning up other info, from what I read, from the Init post, that was seriously F'd up and from what I gather, was TOTALY thought out and he/she was afraid that someone might catch on to the skem, and posibly Lot, had the fore thought to set the items on auto.

In the response, simply put, if there was ANY knowledge of the plans for you to TAKE the drop from the few knowing PT members, that still did NOTHING for the rest of your PT and the poor JPs who were all jipped out of their fair share of the drop they assisted in you getting.

As for the Black-eye thing. No, I don't think most people care who the LS is, however, Dell may have finally sealed the hardest thing to to get back, his/her reputation. And yes, the JPs players were most deff left with a bad taste in their mouth with atleast one NA player. And honestly, given any situation found in real life, most people will be insulted and left with a resounding opinion reguardless of how forgiving of a soul you are, and will most likly encommpass "That damn NA player". Which MAY endup affecting some other NA players later, god forbid.

I only hope that most people will "Proceed with caution" When dealing with this individual in the future concerning important situations, and can only hope this will never happen to anyone else. :roll:

This will be my only response in regards to the original post. I do believe that this misunderstanding deserves a accountable solution and hope that those who do participate in the discussion not distract from the topic at hand.

Jazper has kindly posted my account of what happened. Though not everyone following this thread or some of those who were unfortunate to participate in the event last night may agree, it is my account of it and open to fair critism.

In response to the original post by Masamura:

Stole Assault Jerkin from an alliance that I was in. Since she was the leader, she changed the lot system to master loot, took the item and disbanded. My party was almost 2/3 Japanese because I was with my friend fooling around with his BST 66(Rionn) in Labyrinth of Onzozo.

Everyone in the Alliance that I formed by sending auto-translated tells within the radius of /sea region to my knowledge was JP excluding myself, Boon<Rng in my XP PT>, and masamura the flame poster I found out later, of whom I had not spoken one word to before or during the battle with Ose.

I had communicated with Rionn PT leader of 3, 2 lower level solo BST, and a single lvl 75 monk using the autotranslation and some broken English who decided to come aid -- as well as other's that said they were too busy or not interested in helping. {thanks fo ryour offer,but...}.

First off I did not disband after Jerkin was lotted when Ose was defeated. Instead I {thank you} {everyone} and we /random -ed for the Ose's whisker. The alliance was then seperated off by the other alliance leader Rionn, who was the PT leader of Masamura and one other member.


Then he told me that Ose spawned and if I wanted to keel it.. I said yeah, then we formed a pt (JP) with a BLM MNK and another BST. ... After that, we were all wondering why we can't Cast Lots... then we realized that our window got closed and that armor had been taken by Dellionhart. We realized that she changed the looting system and when we asked, she changed it back. Anyway, Boondocksaint won the Ose whiskers after a fair /random.


Masamura s referring to his PT leader Rionne. I never ever talked to Masamura through this entire fight before or during. I communicated with Rionne who mentioned that he had 2 others with him that coulc come along.

Here is one big misunderstanding. Masa says "we" formed a PT with "The BLm MNK and Bst," Those people he is referring to are players that I personally msged and asked/pleaded to help. I was pretty clear with the translation and used {team up?} {help me out!} {fight} OSE {NM} {armor} {can i have it?}

After they agreed I told them that Rionne was {Leader} {invite to join party} , so that my xp pt could form alliance with them. I don't think Masa realizes that it was I who was forming the AlliancePT for the fight.
I did lot for the assualt jerkin with the quartermaster, and I had clearly told Rionne and the indiviual people who came to help if they could help me fight Ose to get the jerkin. The most important player would be the JP Monk lvl 75 who tanked and basically beat OSE for me. When I msged him to come help I made it positively clear that he woudl join up to help me acquire armor and not lot for it.

I proceeded to message her, then she siad "Oh, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, you people were suppose to help me kill Ose for MY armor drop" When I asked my friend, the leader of my pt, he told me in plain english that Dellion was the one who accepted the Alliance FROM him. Now, why would anyone agree (or at least 17 people) agree to just simply give out Assault Jerkin?

Masa did msg me after when people abrubtly disbanded, and voiced his disagreement. Here's another confusion on Masa's part. He says that I accepted an alliance invite from Rionne his PT leader. But that wasn't the case at all, it was I who formed the gathered the entire alliance thus having control over lottery quartermaster. I was at the XP camp spot where Ose popped and then asked players in the area for help. It was Rionne and his PT that joined up alliance, after I assembled the rest of his PT side.

It was not 17 people but 11-12, half was my XP PT that didn't want to fight Ose originally before I said that I had an Allegience to fight Ose safetly, and the 3 man PT lead by Rionne, and lower level 2 solo bsts, and Chroniox the Mnk lvl 75<sp>.

I can see see from Masa's point of view that what happened may have seemed unjust. Especially if he went into the battle with the hope that his contribution would give him a fair lot at the armour. But I made myself very clear when I invited Rionne and the bsts as well as Chrionix the Mnk. If you talk to Chorionx I am confident that he will reiterate what i told him as I have stated here on my request. He was the main tank and w/o him I doubt we woudl have prevailed.

I admit I am greatly at fault for this misunderstanding. I shouldn't have gone overboard with the {invite to join party?} requests. I shouldn't have invited lower level bsts that got killed by aggro before the battle began, not shoudl I have welcomed a PT lead by Rionnes to help without being clear or communicating to his PT members.

And when the jerkin dropped, I was too excited to consider that there would be any disagreements. And perhaps half afriad that my computer would lag/dsc or that subcontiously that there would be disagreements.

Instead I did a selfish thing and protected myself first by lotting it before any curve balls could enter. Random fact that has no real baring on this case, but I lost my optical hat due to circumstance like forementioned and I admit I was being selfish by protecting myself.

With that said I want to thank everyone who has constructively followed this thread and have contributed in its direction. As well as my LS, I want to apologize for the gray face that this may have brought about.

I guess I'll start at the beginning with that I know and go from there.

Last night I started what turned to a long late night of exping(61 SMN @18,000, ended at 62@1,800), with a (4/2)JP party and another NA ranger named Boon/(sp?)/. We exped for 5-6 hours straight, Ose popped at the beginning as well as Narishma which Serise and friends claim and put down.

5-6 hours later the xp camp is empty except my PT chaining on toromas. Ose pops and there is JP communication and debate that Ose = {Death} so not to fish/fight it. I try to tell them that I've been camping Ose for a long long time and that we really should give it a try at least adn use all our 2 hours. But to no avail, I go along with the groups decision and we leave it alone (Pld tank).

After 10-15min. I decide on whether to d2 back and equip RDM and return to solo, since laby was near empty with a few stray lower lvl bst 48-50's and also 2 anons and a half skill up PT lead by JP Zioonne. However, instead of delaying/abandoning the PT I tell them in translation that I am going to form an {allegiance} {fight} OSE {yes,please} and fight with help that I pleaded and recruited.

I asked the annon's and they said no. The Bst where friendly and said sure and noted that they were only lvl 40-55 if that would come, I said please come, ty, i wasn't being picky. Then the one person who really fought/tanked the entire battle a lvl 75 JP mnk names chroniox<sp> appeared in LOB and answered that he would help me get the jerkin and fight Ose.

The lower level Bst got caught somewhere and died and we rescued them and after I invited and formed a 11-12 member allegiance we slay Ose. Then I thanked everyone with "{Thank You} {Everyone}" after I lotted only the assault jerkin with quartermaster in place. Then i switcched ot lotttery for the rest of the alliance lots for the ose whisker ; alliance is disbanded - ranger NA gets whisker. Then Pt starts d2ing of which I was left behind and thats when I figured something wasn't right.

I get unfriendly tells from members in the alliance that i had not directly talked to; the members in the PT which i had only talked to their leader.

Here's the confusion it seems with muramasa who posted the flame. When I was asking for help i positively wrote something to this nature {hello!} {Help me out!} {NM} OSE /bow /bow {assault}
{Jerkin} {Can i have it?} I sent this to several people in /sea region.

The 4 main parties that responded was a lvl 75mnk/ who was by himself, 2 bst solo players, and Zioon an english spseaking JP who had a party of 3 of which muramasa was in ; SAM, they formed one PT which i allianced to.

Zionne said he had a PT of 3, which I didn't know at the time and said that he would help. But what resulted in this flame is that I think zionne did not clearly tell and maybe misunderstood my request, resulting in muramasa and others in his PT being unhappy.

I admit I may have been haste when I lotted on the jerkin since I was overwhlemed when I saw it drop. And it seem that all the happiness that I'm suppose to feel isn't really there since, everyone is being adversly effected by what happened last night.

Please PM me back, I'm hope I was able to give you a clear picture of where the misunderstanding came about as I can, becuase I haven't slept in over 24 hours. ;;

Boondocksaint, is my gf's friend. After you took the armor, he messaged me with an apology (because he thinks I am a JP player) using auto translate for your attitude. I told him I can speak English and it is ok. He then proceeded to say, he couldn't believe u sank so low.

Rionn is my friend. We were in pt all along. He told me, that an alliance will be created after he found Ose on Wide Scan. He didn't know nor he has any idea or recollections of you going to loot the item for yourself. When the fight started, he used a Torama to fight against OSE repeatedly. Even 2hr on it and told me to SC with monk (was too late for this). Chronix was also after Ose besides LoOz.

Umm.. besides my friend Rionn, you didn't message my friend Lie. ^^ He was anon. You couldn't have known what lvl he was. Besides, Lie was also in my pt with Rionn all the while. We were there to get treasure chests for the LoOz map. ^^

I messaged you because my leader couldn't message you as he can't understand English very well. He told me about what he felt and asked me if I could message you. When I got your response, he said, "blist add, ignore Dell.”　After that, I didn't message you anymore.

Finally, none of us knew what you were doing. Boondocksaint ( NA ) didn't know what you were doing... My pt leader (JP) didn't know what you were doing.. None of us knew.

For my closing, I recieved a tell from Tenkax and I told him that I personally don't care about the armor. It's sweet to have stuffs like that, a sam in my LS has it, but it doesn't matter to me. Afterall... I love my Haubergeon. ^^v I told Tenkax so talk to my japanese friend. He was very kind and also very mature (Tenkax), so for the outcome of this problem, I leave it to both of them.

my last $.02. i feel dell could have gotten the armor any day of the week with any group of NAF ppl. other ppl in PTs stopped on their xp time to help. it was quite selfish to lot for it in that circumstance.

My $0.02. First off Yosh, comparing this to launcher is like comparing the patriots to Utah. Seriously as mad as you are at launcher, imagine if you were a 45 Blm, invited to an alliance to fight mysticmaker, the earring drops, but one of the leaders quartermasters it so you can't lot. I know I would have been livid, and I really dont usually get upset in this game.

As far as this situation goes, from a totally impatial point of view, I have a hard time believing that there wasn't some trickery going on. If there was a general agreement, there is no reason to ever turn quartermaster on.
