I've checked all the spots, it's gone at this point. Sucks to miss out on such a powerful weapon. I'm really feeling it when BP's enter my game. I can kill most of them but a smart BP with demonbrandt= lights out for me. My dinky little Penetrator's sword doesn't do enough to keep them from healing back up or even just backing off for a few.

Bummer.
 
well generally you can roll out of any large sword combo, i suggest trying to get blueblood sword or upgrading a knight sword to +10 or +5 quality depending on your stats. penetrating sword is kinda :(
 
It is a pain in the ass to get pure white tendency. You have to pretty much beat all the bosses in the world without dying which is next to impossible or be invaded and kill the invader 7 times.

I may need the help of someone to do that in world 1 at some point. I'm level 90

Yeah avoiding them isn't really a problem if I don't want to get hit. The problem is in order to do any decent amount of damage, I have to stay on them like white on rice...basically attacking as soon as I have stamina. Eventually they are going to get their hits in and when they smash through my quick defenses while I'm pressing an attack I can't do a whole lot to get out of there.

It'll be easier to pvp once I pick up a better weapon. For now, I'm working on leveling up a Merc rapier to apply poison (this should work in theory- yes?) and hope that can help me out in some instances.
 
poison is cool in pvp cause it messes up heals + DoT if you can stack that with a bleed weapon it's even better. Just be careful with the block stab it's easy to parry, though i personally never block and just 2 hand all the way.

You're over complicating things. After every boss, kill yourself at the Nexus.

I can think of a few people who love Fable and Elder Scrolls that would just love this game but I doubt they could handle the difficulty. Note: Your deaths will never be cheap. You may get your ass whooped because you were overconfident or you screwed up or just weren't fast enough and good enough but you won't get killed cheap.

Sounds like a great game, you discribe it very nicely as well. Two of my friends have this one and they have been bugging me to try it for awhile now, I personally enjoyed elder scrolls games alot but is the difficulty curve really high? I enjoy a challenge just not sure how much of one I can handle these days lol.

I'll probably rent it and try it out these positive posts in this thread have peeked my interset alot. ^^

Man, I saw new posts in this thread and figured Demon's Souls 2 had been announced.
Way to disappoint me, you two.

I'm hoping the Greatest Hits release means they'll be extending the servers again past March.

It's not Demon's Souls 2, but it is.
I can roll with it. Especially since the 360 version seems to be outside of Japan only, which would mean that that version would end up being the port.
Nothing wrong with spreading the love, though.
I mean, jesus, it even looks like Demon's Souls. My only real problem with it right now is that Namco-Bandai is publishing it everywhere. Poor Atlus.

It very well may end up being. Project Dark sounds all sorts of like a placeholder title to me.

As for Namco-Bandai doin' all the publishing that should thrill everyone. Their release package was so, so much better than Atlus'.
 
It won't be Demon's Soul 2, because Sony owns the IP, it may be a spiritual successor though.
