PS3 Demon's Souls デモンズソウル

That sum special edition?

$10 extra on the $59.99 tag gets you the strategy guide and an art book. Apparently if you want the strategy guide for the game this will be the only way to get it. Not a bad deal for $10 when they are normally an extra $15-20.

Yeah, and the strategy guide is actually being made by atlus; rather than Brady or that other company. At least Atlus isn't going to leave things out and have incorrect information.

I'm guessin' it's gonna be so cheap because they are just gonna translate the official perfect guide from Japan. I doubt they'll write a whole other book when a perfect one is floatin' around. I'm happy with anything though, I didn't even think we'd get a fully translated copy of the game, much less a guide. You're right though, Atlus guides are boss.

Ugh. Bad news there folks.

The title is currently without a European publisher, so Demon’s Souls is currently not venturing to the continent any time soon.

“We have no plans to publish it in Europe at present,” Sony told Eurogamer.

The Atlus series Shin Megami Tensei was brought to Europe by Tecmo Koei, but there are no plans to do the same with this particular title, the site was told.

Same with Ubisoft which has published Atlus titles in the past.

It was announced for an October 6 release in the US yesterday.

That's BS. *Prays to Tecmo Koei to Bring Demon's Souls to Europe!!!*

Why not just buy the U.S. version? It's not like it'll be that big of a deal. Now, if it was a Xbox 360 game you'd be in a pickle.

I more than likely will now. It'll probably be the CE too.

Yeah, I must say that EU/US releases hardly matter on the PS3. Lucky you, then :3

The comment system uses pre-set comments, think auto-translator.
Thank god your prediction won't come true.

hehe, really? Well that's kinda a bummer, but understandable :P keeps from very profane things being posted.

Bumping this thread, game's coming out Oct. 6th. I still strongly recommend preordering it, even if you're just getting the standard version. Both versions come with the art book and soundtrack CD with preorder.
I can't fucking wait, that's for true.

I would but I'm trying to keep my money as best as I can >< and ya.. since I just destroyed 2 of my tires cause I'm a moron :( (first time I ever did it at least... first of any accident ever actually) but ya ><

I also completely recommend this game, it's frustrating at first if you don't start off as a Royal, and even still it's quite challenging.

Dudes, this is coming out tomorrow.

Waiting for the game to come to my house. I'm looking forward to playing this game and playing some pvp.

I played this game well into the night, and beat only 1-1 and 1-2.
This game's gonna kick your ass, gotta say. But it's fun.
One part where I got stuck and had to rely on some Blue Phantoms were the Blue-eyed Knights right before 1-2's boss. Maybe it's because they're piled on with archers on top of the wall or something, but I died multiple times trying to solo that part.
Maybe it's 'cause I'm an archer :/

This game's been getting a good amount of high reviews. Particularly surprising for a From Software game, imo.
For those waiting for the Deluxe Edition, the "you're already dead" cover is nice and shiny. The strategy guide is the same size as the game box, which is kinda bad because I'm afraid of bending the pages. Also, it's not a straight copy of the Official Perfect Guide, it's missing the maps and the walkthrough is more of a general outline of what to expect. The only reason I got it, though, was for the item/drop locations, and it delivers in that regard.
I've a mind to get on tonight and take out the Flying Red Dragon in 1-2. First, though, I'm gonna go help someone with Tower Knight again so I can get a few thousand souls to afford all the arrows I'm gonna need :>
