You can get it without killing Ostrava. You just have to do his quest lines for the key. Though that wont get it to you as early as killing him (or letting him die) will :)
 
That's what I'm saying. I went through the whole process of saving his ass (DO YOU KNOW HOW SCARY IT IS FIGHTING TWO RED-EYED KNIGHTS AS AN ARCHER?), and by the time I got the Demonbrandt I was basically down to the last boss (who, for whatever reason, takes reduced damage from everything except the Demonbrandt).
You had to go and kill him, though. The guy tried to reach his father to learn more about the Deep Fog... and you kill him. How are you gonna live with yourself?

I'll do ok. The demonbrandt was worth it. I'd probably kill everyone in the Nexus for it if I had to:drooling:
 
this game have a lot of moment that i just want to drop kick my TV

, still this game keep drawing me back into it XD
 
So the giant Knight boss of 1-2 drove me absolutely fucking crazy.

I probably died at him and the level well over 30 times.

....Around death 25 I found out you can sprint by holding down the circle button. ><

i wonder how you make it past the red dragon without sprint >_>
 
I hadn't been messing with the online portion too much until this weekend. It is a lot of fun... I was messing around in 4-1 in my body and killed like 4 invaders before the 5th one took me out with some kind of spear with a flame enchantment on it. Tried invading one guy once and he ambushed me with a Keel Smasher so that ended quick haha.

I think the most fun I had was the couple times I helped with the Penetrator level and boss fight. Its like a quick 15k souls and you get your body back.
 
Accidentally smacked the filthy man vendor in 2-2 last night. Now hes aggressive to me and I can't buy stones from him in either 2-1 or 2-2. Laaaaaame.

Anyone wanna trade any ores? I need a whole bunch of spiderstones. If you want something else for them lemme know.

It is a pretty big fail. To be honest, my cousin and I were playing together and he figured it out first and we both /facepalmed, lol.

Yeah, you just gotta plan a time/place with someone, summon them to your world, then drop your ores. Its a trust based system though so wouldnt do it with random people. Also have to be close in level ;/
 
What level are you? I'm at Lvl 62. I don't use bows so I have no use for the spiderstones I have. I could use moonlight stones if you have any.

I'm around level 90 ;/ I dont recall if i have moonlights atm, but I havent used them for anything so I'm assuming I will since I've gone through the whole game once. Lemme know if you catch up to me.
 
Yea I can only get time to play a couple times a week. It'll probably be a week or two before I can hit the 80s. Just beat 5-2 and 5-3 last night, but didn't spend the souls yet, so that will probably give me a few levels. We'll see how this weekend goes, maybe I'll just farm that Reaper in 4-2 for a bit.
