Ok i'm not setting a flame about the rightful role of everyjob, like smn main healer or similar even if i'd like but this is another case.
The scenario is the guy/gal on the title, invited me to a party, level 65-67, after 40 minutes of filling party, the named Desirea seemed to know what she (i'll refer to her as a gal, since the char is female) was doing, asking what we thought about camp choices, if erucas, or imps, considered the advice, and the higher levels tnl.
At the moment i thought that she seemed quite experienced, set up was fine, PLD SAM DRG DRK RDM RDM, eruca out of discussion because the PLD was near 68, and he said the exp is killed as he level, imps are too slow to kill, but worth of a try.
Everithing seemed to go smooth when PLD announced "guys in around 30 mins i gotta go..." we keep going on, and after a while the PLD remind us "15 mins guys" the hell started....
Desirea said "np got a SMN otw" ...silence... then one asked "a smn?" ...silence... bha maybe she mispelled...
Then someone lfp approached us and stand by us for few fights, /c hisname .... fuck it's as SMN the first thing we thought "one of us, maybe rdm /t..ed her he had to go and she replaced him with a smn.. but what about the tank that publicly announced his leaving time incoming?" so we asked "Desirea who is the smn replacing?" silence.... stop pulling.. "Desirea who is the smn replacing?" silence.... spammin "Desirea who is the damn smn replacing?" reply "paladinname said he have to go....."
5/6 astonished.... so Desirea added "if you want leader to make it better i'll give you", Dejan at that point asked for leader kicked her and got that poor smn that came all the way to the camp, and the PLD agreed to stay as long as he could to at least give to the closer tnl the chance to level up.
..... SMN main healer sucks... but SMN main tank would be nice to try.... :omg:

Smn tank ftw indeed:crazy:

Smn isn't a bad main healer, it's just not the best like rdm nuking(but more inefficient for party purposes as you get into those levels.

Sucks to hear that happen though lol, I've definitely had my share at 2k tnl until wearing Errant

Sometimes it seems people are happy just to find anyone that will come out to party late night. They dont care if the job that they are replacing fits the needs of the party they just filled a gap so their work is done. /sigh
 
If that was Desirea's true grammar, then they sound like an RMT. ><
 
Only way a SMN could tank is if the SMN is using a Terra's Staff with Titan summoned, with the Summoner's Horn and it's earth weather and like Refresh, Evoker's Roll, and Ballads.

It makes more sense to check for a matching job class before the person leaves. Some people fail to do that sometimes. :(
 
Good move on Dejan's part in getting leader and kicking him/her out lol.
