Was it difficult to implement Level Sync?
There were many difficulties involved in implementation, not least of which was trying to satisfy our initial plans while curbing potential abuse at the same time. In addition, we imagined Level Syncing as being done between individual players. Eventually, we made it the decision of the party leader, so it would be easier to use in a variety of situations, for example if there are foreigners in your party. Also, deciding what limits to place upon equipment depending on the level you sync to was a difficult task.

The power of equipment is limited when you sync, but negative effects never change. What is the reason for that?

Adjusting your level through Level Sync was a concept designed to aid beginners and players stuck at levels at which it is difficult to form parties. We started off with no limitations on high-level players lowering themselves down to participate. Besides Level Sync, we also planned to allow players to wear their existing HQ and NM-acquired equipment into level-capped areas. Using the abilities and stats of average crafted goods, we adjusted equipment to goods of the corresponding level to which you sync. People feel these adjustments are a bit rough, and there are too many detrimental stats that remain. We plan to examine the situation and make some adjustments.

Why is it necessary to have the Nyzul weapon before undertaking the Mythic Weapon WS acquisition quest?
The Vigil Weapons, as they are called, are the weapons you get from Nyzul Isle Assault. These are what become the Mythic Weapons. Those twenty different weapons are Balrahn’s Secret Treasures. Through accumulating [skillchain] points, these Vigil Weapons begin to reflect their Mythic Weapon counterparts. … why are they acquired in Nyzul Isle? The particulars regarding Vigil Weapons and Mythic Weapons are revealed in another quest.

When do you plan to implement Group 2 Merits for Dancer and Scholar? Also, what abilities are you thinking of giving them?
Preparations are almost complete, so I believe we’ll be implementing them very soon.

Director - 小川広一 Ogawa, Kouichi

Do you plan to add Relic equipment for Dancer and Scholar?
We certainly do have plans for that. We wish to add it as soon as we can, so please hang on a little longer.

The names of areas such as the Mithran homeland and the Far North have been stated in quests and cutscenes. Will we be able to travel to these places in the future?

I’d like to try that. Unfortunately, there are no plans currently for those places, but I wouldn’t rule it out altogether.

There are so many NPCs in Campaign, it can be difficult to target enemies at times. Even pressing F8 will target an NPC, so will there be a better way to target enemies soon?

This has been an issue I have wanted to address since the release of Wings of the Goddess. We’re currently examining whether to solve this through a new gameplay element or editing existing ones. This NPC issue isn’t something we can fix immediately, but will will continue to work towards improving the game system.

When compared to NPC generals, it feels like adventurers don’t even exist. What if an adventurer’s rank could affect the battle in a more tangible way? Could you consider doing something like that?

We are considering having one’s rank increase the strength of Temporary Items that are distributed. Also, we plan to allow the use of Temporary Items during offensive battles, rather than just defensive ones.
As for enemy generals, they exist to strike fear on the battlefield, and are given the strength to withstand dozen of adventurers. Conversely, allied generals are meant to stand up to these foes, and stand out on the battlefield as the star hero. In addition, each unit is designed to be able to keep Campaign running as people make their way to the area to participate.

Nyzul Isle is packed all day long, and I can never get inside. Are you thinking of a way to combat this?

The amount of players on each server doing Nyzul Isle at the same time has increased greatly, and we had no fundamental solution to this problem. We’re currently preparing some countermeasures to alleviate crowding at popular events.

Please tell me why Alexandrite is limited only to Salvage. Also, will you ever make it obtainable outside of Salvage, like off the Gears in Nyzul Isle?

Alexandrite is an item that originates from Alexander, so it while it wouldn’t be strange to find it in Nyzul Isle, we initially intended it to be limited to Salvage. Nyzul Isle is the only other place in which it may become obtainable.

Adventurers can be sucked into an instanced area by the Notorious Monster, Sandworm. However, if this happens, you cannot obtain the “Sandworm Catcher” title.

If you defeat the worm before being sucked in, you will obtain the title. Since there is a high probability of being sucked in during the second half of the fight, you need to quickly rush the monster, interrupt any [Doomvoids], and use TP as you accumulate it.

Lehko, the male Mithra NPC, charms many of the female Mithra, but what is so special about him in particular?
Of course, Male Mithra are rare on the main continent, but they are also rare in their homeland of Gha Naboh. This is why female Mithra are so interested in his existence. It’s like the female teacher at an all boy’s school. Also, his speech style is soft and comforting, so he is probably quite popular with young girl’s as well.

When you clear the quest “Babban Ny Mheillea” and receive the title, Lycopodium will cast Regen onto you as long as you bear that title. Are there any other quests linked to NPCs that produce special effects like this?
Players that complete the Areuhat quest “Beast from the East,” can subsequently trade to a Scouted Areuhat a Shell Bug, and cause her to take flight as Odzmanouk during Campaign Battles.

Nice on the group 2 merits and relic for Dancer and Scholar, looking forward to hearing about when both will be coming.

And yeah, nowadays who would honestly kill Sandworm just for the title when others can get Doomvoided to fight inside and get the possible rewards?
Though I can see people doing it just to dick over shells that do the fight inside.
Either way I'm glad I already got the title before they added the instanced area.

I want the title...
I recall before Doomvoid I got roped into a group of people doing Sandworm, and they lost.
Sadness :(

^^ Our Social LS killed Sandworm and got the title before the added in the doomvoid bit

Someone should ask S.E. whats up with rmt sending friends list messages. I get several a week from this one site. What does S.E. say about it? The usual "nothing we can do" But I ask this S.E. The last 2 weeks worth of messages have been addressed to my pol handle. Not my ingame name or mules name like before. From what ive been told by S.E.. Only they know the pol handles. So how is it rmt are getting the pol names...hmmmm?

I think SE addressed in an interview that they were going to try and make it so only friends can send you messages on POL~

Is it that wrong for us to think that this should have been the case from Day One, and that to allow otherwise is to completely negate the very term "Friend List"?

I guess i should have phrased it as "people on friend list" instead of friends, but yeah I'm guessing SE wasn't wise enough back when they first released the game to think that the message system could be abused by RMT who seem to be pretty resourceful

I always felt it was the case that only friends could send you messages until I heard about the first wave of RMT spam.
