If you didn't know the Demo is up on the market place, and it is beast.

Its only 600 MB and you get two game types. One is a 10 min timed run and another one that you fight a mini boss and then a boss (which are also at the end of the 10 min run) which is not timed.

I gotta say not having ever played a devil may cry game before this was pretty kick ass. Along the lines of ninja gaiden action. Def gonna be picking this one up.

Also never really played the DMC games until I downloaded this on PSN. Stunning visuals, and really fast-paced, kickass gameplay. Ninja Gaiden-esque for sure.

I'm afraid I will have to own this one when it comes out early Feb.

Got it off PSN too. I'm not really all that impressed to be honest. Will play a little bit more, buy I'm leaning against buying it. If I do it'll be because nothing else is really coming out for either system.

Kinda agree with you Fire. It was not anything to wow about. I enjoyed DMC and even DMC2 slightly. DMC 3 was just odd and whatever. This demo did not impress me, but it is just a demo. Maybe its just missing Dante which the full version has i believe.

I downloaded it but haven't tried it out yet. The trailers for it wasn't that spectacular. It would be nice if really does match Ninja Gaiden. I'll try it later.

Not close to Ninja Gaiden from this demo. Looks great visually tho.

For the newcomers the game would be awesome, but if you played the the others there is nothing new in the demo for you. I hope the full game is better. Might just rent it.

I loved the first and third one, despite the annoying "change the way you play before each level" thing in the third one, but I loathed the second one. The game sucked, and the voice acting was bad enough to give someone cancer.

This one looks like more of the same, but I'll probably get it anyway.

I didnt like it. The only game in this genre I like now is the God of War series. Kratos> Dante. Also God of War has a way better story.

I played it and loved it, I have been waiting on this for a long time and was kind of thrown off by the Devil arm at first but it definetly adds to the game. I really don't like the comparisons to Ninja Gaiden b/c DMC was released first. I am glad though that they didn't really make the difficulty easy in the demo and was surprised that I lost to the boss on my first run through. I can't wait to play Nero must die mode.

Everytime I knocked Berial down and then he'd do that swinging uppercut to get his fire back on I'd yell: "FLAME ON!"

I wanna know what the achievements for this game are going to be.

For me, the progression system in the new one feels kinda like the Metroid series a little bit too. It was always wicked awesome getting new abilities for Samus in those games.

I'm not playing the demo. I'm waiting for the full game to come out. Its out 3 days after my birthday anyway ^^

As soon as the 31st hits im ordering it from Capcom and I am getting the collectors edition. I am supposed to get a artbook with it also.

The one thing that seems kinda iffy so far is the throttle on the sword, hopefully you will be able to unleash stronger attacks as you progress in the game.

Demo wasn't very impressive but I think the game has scope to become something better. The original devil may cry games only got good after a few weapon and ability upgrades anywho.

That it does. I've onry played DMC 1, obviously GOW is better but DMC was fun as hell in its own right. D:

Luckily, throttling it up all the way only takes a few seconds, and you get 3 seriously damaging attacks out of it.

Question, will there be anything "special" gameplay wise in DMC4: SE, like with DMC3: SE?

Anyway, game looks awesome. Definitively going to pick it up.
