Na the difference is well geared blms dont get resisted and on an SC break 1300 consistantly.
 
I realize how frustrating a fact it is that HNM is dominated and monopolized by botting...but, really, what can you do? Until SE gets off of their collective asses and brings themselves to care enough to even ATTEMPT to make any sort of improvement to the easily exploited claim system...all you can do is live with it.

It's a sad fact of life, and believe me when I say it frustrates me as well, it's just a little pointless to base a flame on it. It's good of you to try to bring the facts to life, however, and for that you get some kudos. I respect people with HUEG GUTS.

Now, a flame about how much they fail *while botting*, that's better material.
 
Honestly if Square Enix would adopt anti cheating software like Punkbuster, it would fix ALOT of problems.

Relax taru. He was making a statement. Not all of your shell's blms are nearly as well geared as maybe a couple are in your shell.

my comment was a response to yours stating that a smn is better damage than a blm which is completely false.. an average blm thats getting resisted 50+% of their casts yes a smn would probably out damage them. On the other hand a good blm who is consistantly breaking 1k on reg nukes and 1300+ on MBs is gonna absolutely cream a smn in kill speed.

Me because I'm about one of the only people in my ls that rambles around on this forums I'll post this that Zycipher asked me to post. I'll preface it with this will be his only comment on any topics in the flameboard and the accusation of botting. It's copy and pasted from our ls forums.

Dejavu, I don't think I've seen you in the aery much within the last 2 months that our claim rate has gotten better. What you are accusing us of is completely hearsay. I further my point that your accusations are nothing but baseless hearsay, we did not claim KB, it was given to us by a JP who claimed and wanted the tongue in return. As much as I would like to have a 11/13 or 85%+ claim rate, these are numbers just thrown out and exaggerated. While we were 6/9 or 10 on claims, Fubio was at the time already claiming we were 8/11. A LS' first Faf or Nid will always be sloppy and time consuming, hanging on that notion to swing your epeen around saying your LS is better because your 40th Faf was faster/cleaner than their 1st or 2nd Faf or Nid is retarded. If you're seeing us go for 30 mins+ Faf or 50+ mins Nid these days w/o something going very wrong, you need to get your internal clock fixed.

A LS that doesn't claim always accuses another LS of botting, my LS does the same thing in LS chat. Often times when we don't get claim, "BOT" or "That was hacked!" would pop up in /l chat.

Because someone will argue semantics, as far as I know, our linkshell does not bot. Could there be some lurking inside, a possibility for every shell, perhaps? None of our members act in a way that is "hardcore" enough for endgame or for me to be suspicious of them, and contrary to Dejavu's post, I don't think any of us have claimed twice recently, let alone 3 times. When comparing overall claim rates, I'm confident that your's is still short of those that have been in the aery for a long time, percentage wise. We would go for weeks without a claim, then catch a lucky break here and there while other LS like HA would claim with good consistency throughout.

Klipp logging soon after he claims does raises some suspicion to outsiders; however he plays main BRD on his other character as well. Tank party BRD is much more important, and rather than kicking Klipp and letting him get hit with Faf's wing, it's better to log him out. When you have 20+ people, you'll need an outside party, and Klipp likes to spam on his Sam/War more so than his Brd for obvious reasons. He claimed while in outside party, once we got that party in we asked him to log to avoid damage and so we can get someone in his place, an option you have when an advantage in numbers is the only thing you have to help with claims. Klipp does spam on both from time to time though, which isn't a hard thing to do. What baffles me though, is how people use his mistype of "]"(yes it was the "]" key for those that were aguing about it in the aery) as proof that he bots. When you're smashing down enter to try to claim there is a possibility that your finger slips and hits the key right above it, then enter right afterwards since you're spamming it. Other than this, he has claimed nothing else.

Off the top of my head, we've probably claimed 13-14 out of the last 21-22 Fafhoggs that we camped. The accusations of botting came after we claimed our 4th, not 4th in a row, but 4/7. We even had an MPK attempted on us. If you've been camping, you should know that 4/7 isn't anything too special. When we first started camping, JDA did 7+ in a row, yes consecutive claims, when they used to camp with Kursed. Kaizen did 4 in a row or in 5 pops, along with an aspid, which Vang decided to chip in on in the aery one day. Other than Vang's comment, there was no accusations of bots for these guys, although I'm not saying there should and I do not with to attack any shells, just simply pointing out similar events with different receptions from people.

Soon after our 6/9 streak of claims, HA claimed 3 in a row, possibly 4 since we did not camp a day. Not a lot of different between our 4 in a row, however it's funny how it was HA's Fubio who came up with all these acusations of us botting.

When you look at all our claims, we are never outnumbered except for 1 claim on first window pop. When there is less than 50 people in the aery, and you have 25, you have a good chance of claiming. Especially since we kill flies to make sure your console players spam to death as well, rather than relying on our PC users to take off flies and spam only, something I don't see a lot of LS doing. Heck, Fubio for the most part has his character turned against the wall during window while letting his HA buddies claim, unless he's botting I don't think he's going to claim like that.

No one goes to camp thinking that they're not going to claim. Even if you claimed the last 5, you're going to try your best to claim dispite the fear of people accusing you or things. It may ver well be your last claim for months, so take what you can get.

Hmmm... I see this has become a Epeen battle of a veteren's kill time against a beginner's kill time to remanence over their past glory days due to no source of evidence. I wish to keep shell relations a positive things, but seems that it would be difficult.

Lastly, no I would never be in DarkDesires, I've only been in 3 LS during my time of FFXI. Soranohi, AerialNexus, and my current LS.

Serise is one of the most dignified people I've ever met. He doesn't have a temper..

In his defense as my friend, he would never go on online forums and encourage the community to engage in illegal activity, which in my opinion, brings the community down as a whole.

Theres a thing or two he could probably teach you. Maybe you should take the initiative and show some respect.

Yeah I can acknowledge a BLM will deal more damage quickly as long as they're not getting resisted. My response was based toward BLM's pulling hate after a several nukes whereas SMN is nearly hate free. The only down side to the SMN is the time delay between blood pacts. However the SMN strat leaves kill power at the beginning when summons are constant lacking.
