Funny, a couple of weeks ago I started playing Diablo 2 again. Currently playing WW Barb. I also play on US east. Name of account is TCozmeister. I mainly play in fishy123///fishy123 or any game name fishy and numbers, password always matches game name.

Im usually out MFing or kung-fu'in shiz with my Ass'n. (Lvl 50 and Dragon Flight is up to 3200 max dmg I think lol)

Go to blizzard.com and setup a new account or use an existing one if you have one (click yes to beta testing, easy to miss at the bottom). You can buy and download the D2 and D2 expansions. (~$20 a piece I think)

DISCLAIMER: SERIOUSLY, READ THIS.

Dont go out and buy a version of D2 on CD, then try to download the expansion, they are NOT compatible. The CD key for the online versions is about 9 characters TOO LONG.

I note this because my buddy did this, and got mad when he couldnt upgrade.

I dont think they had ladder when I played like 5 years ago but I could be wrong. Yeah Im ladder even though I dont see the difference.

Dont our chara's get moved to normal when they reset?

We should start making a list of charas and acct names for QCDN ppls. Would love to mess some shit up with you guys.
 
A lot of the best Runewords are not attainable unless you are in ladder. Also, a lot of items drop in ladder only.

When server resets, you keep all your stuff and a new ladder starts, but the better runewords can only be made while playing ladder and not non ladder.

Would like to play some 8 plaer hell baal/cows.

Got our first full keyset last night after it took around 80 runs to get 3 dkeys. Of Course got an amazon torch, the class I do not have leveled. Farming more keysets, need that Barb or Necro torch.

Rerolled my Ice sorc cuz I didnt follow a build and screwed her up good.

Rerolled my Avenger PLD cuz I saw a bot running baal's. Hammerdin's look fun as hell.

How the hell do people have like 15k hammers? and 4k blizzards..? Charms?

I capped some skills on sorc and can only do 3-1400+ CLightning.

What am I missing? lol.

Also, I know I have to do some crazy runewords for my hammerdin but where do I get all the good runes? I cant find any high lvl ones.. Maybe I should take off my MF?

yep charms, just cap vigor, cont, blessed aim, and hammers then add your gear. I have around level 40 hammers at this time and about 12k-13k and then add the GC (grand charms) and that is how you get 15khammers. oh and also a anni and ptorch

I read a lot of builds for hammerdins.. half say "use STR points just to wear your gear" while the other half say "dont put any points in STR"

I assume from the "no STR points" you would get it from pure gear alone, but I dont have most of the gear they listed "HoZ, Runewords, ect".

They also said "no points in dex" so Im all confused.

What Im doing is:

100ish STR for gear (Mila body, Uni bodies I have, ect)
~ Dex (Will get a good shield and lvl dex to cap block at 75%)
400ish VIT (All leftover points for HP)
0 Energy (Mana leech and recovery items)

This is why I'm usually embarrassed to say that I play Diablo, because I just like to hit things... seeing how my favorite way to play is a zeal paladin, or a double swing barb. But yeah, after hearing about D3, I got back into the game too..

At any rate, try this room if you want a safe place to transfer gear or another person to boost exp, it's usually where I am if I'm on.
